Yeah! It is that time again! Time for a gift card giveaway courtesy of Ebates and this time it is a $100 gift card to Target stores.
I have talked about Ebates lots of times before, basically it is a cash back company. You just register and whenever you want to shop online, just go to Ebates first and type in the name of the store (like Target or Barnes and Noble etc..)
You will see the cash back rate displayed and that is a rebate amount you will get back on your purchase. So today they have 3% cash back to Home Depot. If I placed a $100 order at Home Depot, I would receive $3 back in a check from Ebates.
It actually does add up fast and they mail checks quarterly. So always a nice little surprise in the mailbox. In addition, when you are new to Ebates they give you a $10 gift card when you spend your first $25 online. So if you spent $100 at Home Depot today, you would get a $10 gift card plus the 3% back! This gift card offer ends today (9/5) and after that you get $5 when you register.
Easy! The only trick is that you need to have $5 or more in your account (not including that bonus) before your check is mailed.

My long time family tradition is to start Christmas shopping on Black Friday. It always makes for some great memories!

Haven’t started Christmas shopping – we usually get most of it done on Black Friday when everything’s on sale. Probably won’t be able to do Christmas presents this year, though, because we can barely pay our bills right now 🙁

I hate to say it but I started in January. I have 4 kids 🙂 The bad thing is I bought 4 Nintendo 3 DS BEFORE the price dropped so I spent way more than if I had waited 🙁 Would love this card to pick up some games for the kids for Christmas!
