CVS: Buy 6 Diapers, Get 1 Free

There is a really great deal running at CVS right now on diapers. This is supposed to be available through the end of the year but I would encourage you to look for signs in your store like the one above or to look at the bottom of your receipt if you buy diapers. You should see a note that says something about this promotion.

Anyway, the deal is that you buy 6 packages of diapers and you get a coupon for a 7th pack for free.

This includes:

  • CVS Supreme Diapers 23-50 ct
  • Huggies Diapers 20-50 ct
  • Luvs Jumbo packs 23-36 ct
  • Pampers Jumbo packs 20-50 ct

So again this should accumulate through the end of the year but the tricky part is that the coupon for the free pack prints 2 days after your 6th purchase.

I wanted to mention this so you can get ready for next week when we will see a great deal on Huggies:

Spend $25 and get a $10 ECB back (limit 1).

Huggies Diapers are $9.00

{Deal Idea}
Buy 3 packs of Slip On Diapers at $9.00
Use (3) $3/1 from 9/11 SS
Pay $18.00 and get back a $10 ECB, net price of $2.66 per pack.

Plus you are 3 packs in to your 6 pack requirement.

OR Luvs are priced at $7.00

{Deal idea}
Buy 4 at $7.00
Pay $28 and get back $10 ECB, so a net price of $4.50 per pack.

If you want to get a jump start, Huggies Slip Ons are $4.99 (limit 1) this week at CVS.

(Thanksย I Heart CVS)

This has actually been going on for awhile here in SoCal. The great thing is that when you use your free coupon, that pack counts as 1 towards your next free pack. So after you purchase your first 6 and get rolling, you are really only paying for 5 every other time, and getting another free coupon. Ex. Buy 6, and get a free coupon. Use that coupon and it counts as 1 towards your next 6. Buy 5 more, and it will print another coupon (it does take about 2 days to “track” and print out).

So are they mix and match? Like can you buy Huggies and Pampers or is it just 6 of one kind? I’ve only bought Huggies so far. The Slip-On diapers count, but the actual Pull-Ups don’t, by the way.

I am reading it as buy the same brand only Melissa but I am not sure. I think it is not mix and match because the signs are all specific to each brand rather than just one sign with all the brands pictured.

Yes I received a printout fo a free package of Huggies during the last big huggies sale with the $3 off Q’s and the amount of diapers towards the next one prints out on the bottom of my receipt…haha and I don’t have kids in diapers…my sister in law is going to LOVE me everytime she needs diapers…lol

Kristy, good to know you can do it more than once! Somehow I was thinking it was a limit 1 type deal!

I did not get a Huggies coupon in the San Jose Mercury News yesterday…was there one in the Sac Bee?

  7. Kristy says

Yes, you can do the deal multiple times. I am 1 away from my next free pack (it is per brand, not mix and match), so I plan to buy 1 more pack of Huggies this week with some of the profit from the Airwick deal. I will hold on to the free coupon until next week when my plan is to buy 3 Huggies for $27 (spend $25 get a $10 ECB). I will use my free coupon to subtract $9, (2) $3 Huggies coupons, (2) $1 off CVS Huggies coupons that printed on my receipt over the last week, and a $4 e-mail coupon that I have to subtract a total of $21, pay $6 oop and get a $10 ecb. So, all in all it will be a $4 MM on 3 packs of Huggies, and those 3 will count towards the 6 needed for my next free pack. Pretty sweet deal!

For some reason the huggies pull up diapers did not count towards the free package for me. Did anyone else have this problem?

I got one package so far (last month) and am working towards my second package of free Huggies. I have also gotten printouts for $1 off 1 Jumbo pack from the CVS machine which can be combined with manufacturer coupons. If you have free coupons from Huggies Rewards for a Jumbo pack that counts towards it too.

@ Krista, the Huggies slip on diapers didn’t count for me either.

    09/13/2011 at 9:45 AM

KNC I would contact CVS. You can see the slip ons pictured in the advertisement for the promotion. It could just be a new item that wasn’t programmed into the promotion quickly enough or something. Those without question should count.

My add says limit 1 also. So how can i get 3 packs ๐Ÿ™‚ is there a trick ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. Charlene says

I am totally confused? The deal is spend $25 and get $10 back? If the diapers are $9.00 each and your requirement is to spend $25 in total why wouldn’t you be able to buy 3 packages? I don’t see anywhere that it says spend $25 but you can only buy 1 pack of diapers? Is there any chance that you are confusing the ads? I mentioned two separate deals. I said THIS WEEK:

“If you want to get a jump start, Huggies Slip Ons are $4.99 (limit 1) this week at CVS.”

    and then I said:

“I wanted to mention this so you can get ready for next week when we will see a great deal on Huggies:

Spend $25 and get a $10 ECB back (limit 1).”

So I am not sure where the confusion is?

The ad this week says huggies and pampers jumbo packs are on sale 2/$18. Does that mean that they are $9 each if you buy 3, or do you pay $18 for the first 2 and the 3rd one is full (regular) price? I was under the impression that with CVS when they have those 2 for whatever price deals that you had to buy 2 to get the price listed (unlike the grocery stores where you can buy less than the stated amount and still get the same price as buying multiples)

  15. Charlene says

    09/15/2011 at 9:58 AM

Michelle, they are $9 each. That will be the case for every store unless you see some note indicating you must buy 2.

Keep scanning your cards at the magic coupon machine as well.. I’ve recently gotten two of the $3/$15 baby purchase! Holding on to these for the Huggies ECB deal next week!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I just bought 3 packs of Huggies Supreme Jumbo (wish I had waited till next week)…but no tally of my diaper purchase printed on my receipt?!

  18. Charlene says

    09/15/2011 at 1:51 PM

Ramsey did you see signage about the offer in your store? If you did, then just call the number to CVS on the back of your card. If you did not, you might consider returning and rebuying next week. This promotion is actually advertised in next week’s ad so the cat is out of the bag and for sure they have to honor it.

Before you do any of that, why don’t you give it a day and then go to cvs.com, log into your account- or make one- click Extracare in the upper right corner, and then check current balances and see if there is anything noted there.

Has anyone tried the Huggies slip on diapers? Are they like pull ups?I do have a toddler and been thinking about trying them, what do you guys think of these diapers?

  21. Ramsey says

    09/16/2011 at 5:08 PM

Charlene, thanks for your reply! I just checked my cvs.com account and there is nothing showing under balances! I did not see signage so I asked an employee and she told me yes they were participating in the deal.

I would love to get the credit for buying them…BUT I used my $4/$20 plus a $3.69 ECB and my (3) $3/off huggies coupons for the deal!! I got so excited about the deal I forgot it was for next week! ๐Ÿ™

@ naomi: I have a three year old who is potty trained but needs a little extra at night. I decided to try the Huggies slip on’s and absolutely love them. They seem to hold in the wetness ALOT better than any of the others (including night times). Go for it. This is one I highly recommend!
