Safeway Deals 7/6-7/12

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!Be sure to read about the new Just for U program rolling out at Safeway!

The Smuckers that is on sale is the 32oz jar, priced at $5.09 for me. These are the same ones that come in 2-packs at Costco for around $8. Paying half as much ($4.54 w/coupon) for the same amount of jelly sounds like a GREAT deal to me!

Just a heads up re the Seattle’s Coffee and cereal catalina promo you mentioned yesterday. My cat did not print so they refunded the $3. Also, I bought the Cheerios Cinnamon Burst cereal after clicking on the Just4U free box and that didn’t come off either so they had to refund that amount as well.

Be sure to check your receipts!

There is a Ragu catalina running at my store until 8/30. Get $1.50 wyb 2.

    Ok thanks Joan!

I’m sad to say that after my trip today, the 18oz Smuckers jars are the ones on sale, not the 32oz. 🙁

Just got back from Safeway and noticed that there were $1 blinki coupons for morning star products. They have their morning star items on sale for $3.99 this week, so $2.99 after coupon. I know you’re a vegetarian, so I figured I’d ask if you thought this was a good deal or not?

ps – for some reason I can’t make comments on your facebook page anymore, would you know why that is? Was I blocked? I’m not one for making nasty comments, so I’m quite puzzled.

Does anyone know for sure if the Nature Valley Granola thins are for included in the catalina deal?

Spotted new tearpad MQs in NorCA Sfwy:
$1 off any 12 oz bag of Peet’s Coffee, x9/30/11
    $1 off 4-pack of Illy Issimo, x12/19/11

Tried the Ragu deal, no Cat for me, but happy anyway.

Sarah, there is also a Safeway coupon for $2.99 Morningstar products, valid 7/3 until 7/9 (just load it to your card). I was able to stack, and get them for $1.99 each.

Oh shoot. I forgot about this question. This was the troublemaker banned from my FB wall right ;P I have no idea about that. You get banned if you post something really rude like the guy with the middle finger recently or if you try to promote something inappropriate and you catch me on a bad day 🙂 I especially hate when blogs come and try to promote themselves by using my page. Otherwise, no idea on that.

The best deal is at Target- use the $1 coupons and the $1/2 target coupon to pay $1.49. $3.99 is not a good price. Usually I pay $1.49-1.99 per box and that is about as good as it gets 🙂

  11. Sarah S says

    07/07/2011 at 2:45 PM

Hmmm, none of that sounds like me! I’m still a fan, I just can’t comments. Oh well, I’ll just have to go the long way and make comments on your blog instead. 🙂 thanks for the tip to use the coupons at Target. We are by no means vegetarians, but one time I got the mushroom burgers for a friend who was and they were pretty good!

Amanda Q: Does anyone know for sure if the Nature Valley Granola thins are for included in the catalina deal?

A: The SW cat says (excludes NV Granola Thins)

BTW, you can go to Catalina Marketing Printables site and print the cat offer here = http://www.couponnetwork.com/snacks-coupons.

Glen I didn’t see where it says excluding thins on that. Can you tell me where you saw it listed because I checked before I posted.

    07/07/2011 at 5:25 PM

Sorry the above Cat website shows all Cat offers under YourBucks, I think it’s tied to stores you select under preferences. I just found this and have not verified against store tags.

  15. Charlene says

    07/07/2011 at 5:54 PM

Right I know about all that. I just can’t see anywhere that specifically says it excludes Thins.

    Hi Charlene,
If you actually print out the catalina, it says that the Granola Thins are excluded 🙁 Pooh.

So I didn’t see signs about the cat in my safeway store today so I didn’t bother purchasing them because I didn’t want to deal with customer service, but I just checked out the about website that glenncof posted-I’m a little confused…am I suppose to print that off first, take it with me to scan then I get my catalina? or is that cat being offered at all those stores even without signs? Just wondering because I would like to buy the granola bars but I want to go and do it right the first time hopefully without too much hassle. 😉

  18. Charlene says

    07/08/2011 at 5:25 PM

Bree coupon network is the same company as catalina. So they post some of the cats running nationwide and some they don’t publish. It is just a resource to confirm the catalina but if yours doesn’t print you would call them to get the missing cat not the store. I have a red button on the sidebar of the blog for coupon network too if you forget the web site.

I saw a deal in my store last night–buy 5 Yoplait Smoothie mixes, get each for 1.99. With the $1/1 coupons on coupons.com, I thought it seemed like a good deal to get each for 0.99. I forgot to check the dates, but gotta go back soon. We love those mixes. Thanks for the heads up on the J4U free cinnamon cheerios, too!

Oh GREAT DEAL Sarah! But I am lame because I only see Jamba Juice coupons? Can you tell me the zip you used?

  22. Sarah H. says

    07/12/2011 at 9:30 PM

Okay, I’m the lame one! I found my .75/1 coupon in my little organizer. I want to say it came out of one of the BC inserts (exp 7/30) and then I saw the FB $1/1 coupon in your coupon database. My printer isn’t working or I’d let you know if I could get more than one print out of it.
