{CLOSED} Giveaway: 5 Loaded Coupon Binders

07/04/2011 By Charlene

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

I can’t even begin to tell you how long I have spent on this project.  I don’t actually use a coupon binder myself but I know I am in the minority on that and lots of you consider your binders part of the family.

When you are new to couponing, one of the big hurdles to overcome is simply getting everything sorted out and organized.  So hopefully I can help!  I spent a long time doing research and testing products and hopefully I have come up with a pretty decent custom coupon binder.

And I have 5 of them ready to go as a giveaway for five of you guys and I hope you like what I have pulled together!  These binders are fully organized and even include a few complete coupon inserts so you are off to the races!

If you would like to win one custom binder filled with everything I think you need to get started using coupons (or move yourself up to the next level of using coupons) you have a few chances to win:

1. Just leave a comment below letting me know what system you use to organize your coupons.  Do you have them in a nice binder already, an accordian file, envelopes, all crumbled up in the bottom of your purse?    I was actually the latter of those selections until this weekend when I finally got through about a zillion coupons and now they are nicely organized.   (whoot whoot!)

2. FOR A BONUS ENTRY:  Just like My Frugal Adventures on Facebook. Easy peasy.   Make sure to leave a SECOND comment letting me know we are friends!

AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WIN:

You can share this giveaway on your Facebook wall.  I have extra binders all set to go and if one of your friends likes My Frugal Adventures and wins the giveaway, you get a binder just for referring them!

To share this on your wall just look for the little blue f in a square at the bottom of this post.  It looks like this:

Click that and this giveaway will post to your wall!

So good luck!  I will pick a winner on Thursday at 7pm PST.

*Note: I know there are lots of male readers these days which is just awesome.  So not to worry I have a choice of two colors in the binder for each winner.  So you guys won’t be hauling around a bright pink binder unless you decide that’s the one you want.

Please be sure to leave a comment by clicking below.  Any comments on Facebook, twitter or via email will not count!

I try to use envelopes, but have to admit that there are coupons in the bottom of my purse, in my car door, in the drinkholder, etc. I would love an organizer!!!

I used to use accordian style alphabetical. Held coupons w paper clip. Took forever in the store. Ive just started clipping again and hv found diff styles that i like. I think the binder will b the most effective way bc if it isnt simple and fast then im most likely not going to b successful w it 🙂

I have some small files for my purse but most of them end up crumpeled up in the bottom of my purse. I am trying to get more organized but there are not enough hours in the day.

I just started couponing a month ago and I also use a small accordion container that I can easily carry in my tote bag. It is starting to bulge out so I definitely need something bigger/better. =)

I use a cloth checkboook like holder with category dividers. Works pretty well and fits into my purse.

I use a small plastic accordion file holder that fits in my purse so I always have coupons with me. But I do not store a load of coupons at this point.

I have tried envelopes and accordian folders and I can’t keep any of it organized. They usually end up in the bottom of my purse or crumbled in the zipper pocket of my purse and then I never use them.

I have been “couponing” since I was a kid…always loved to save money and liked the challenge. I now have an old binder and I have 4 envelope folders inside to store sorted coupons and gift cards: baby, grocery, mall/retail, restaurants. I’m not always on top of things and seem to have tons of expired coupons. Haha!

  32. Amy L says

    07/04/2011 at 10:31 AM

I just recently started the binder system! But mine is too small!

  33. Tracy says

    07/04/2011 at 10:31 AM

I currently use a fat yellow accordion file for my coupons, where I keep them in the inserts until I frantically leaf through and cut them out each week. It is cumbersome and I yearn for a streamlined binder system. I was just introduced to your website and blog a week ago and I am so grateful!

  34. Jacqueline Cherry says

    07/04/2011 at 10:31 AM

I currently use a small coupon file folder. I’m new to couponing but I’m loving the savings even if it’s not that great of an amount just yet.

  35. Susan says

    07/04/2011 at 10:32 AM

I have a small fabric pouch also, but it is in my purse all the time. I’ve been couponing so long that there weren’t store coupons! Now I find out about stacking!

  36. Sheila Leitsch says

    07/04/2011 at 10:32 AM

I use envelopes for each store and a bank zip up bag.

  37. Vicki says

    07/04/2011 at 10:32 AM

I have a cute fabric coupon organizer with index card dividers, then I put envelopes for each of the main stores I shop at in the very front and divvy out the coupons I’ll use on each trip for each store. The envelope part is working pretty well for me, but getting all the categories labeled in a logical way has me stuck a bit.

  38. Rachel Clark says

    07/04/2011 at 10:32 AM

WelI have recently slacked on staying up-to-date with my coupons but when I was on top of it, they were organized in a small purse sized accordion envelope. I certainly need a new system to get me back on track!

  39. Tanya J says

    07/04/2011 at 10:32 AM

Coupons and filing system? Ugh. I honestly just found out from a doctor that I have ADD (no joke, and I’m 37, how did I survive this long?) so my system of organization for coupons is 1) kitchen counter or dining room table, then 2) my DH gets tired of looking at them so he moves them to the ‘junk’ drawer in our kitchen, then 3) I *may* or *may not* remember the coupons, so if I do, I shove them in the bottom of my purse, then 4) I go through the drawer and realize that many great coupons expired already OR they were moved to my fridge where I was sure I WOULD NOT forget them… Yeah, I’m in desparate NEED of a binder!!!! 🙂

I use a binder organized by the layout of my favorite Super Walmart. It is easy for me to remember and was originally the only place I would shop. Since I’ve expanded my stores to get the best deals, it still works for me!

  41. Janis says

    07/04/2011 at 10:32 AM

I do have a binder, but I think when I really get going (meaning: when the kids go back to school) it will be too small. 🙂

  42. Tami Lindstead says

    07/04/2011 at 10:32 AM

I use a pocket-book size accordian type file and divide them by category according to my supermarket aisles. I’d love to start using a binder system. :))

  44. Pam Emmons says

    07/04/2011 at 10:32 AM

I use the binder system but it is very time consuming to keep it updated. However, it is the best system I have found to keep my coupons organized.

  45. Tricia Sherry says

    07/04/2011 at 10:32 AM

I am currently trying to put together a system.. guess sort of clump them all together before I go shopping. 🙂
