I can’t even begin to tell you how long I have spent on this project. I don’t actually use a coupon binder myself but I know I am in the minority on that and lots of you consider your binders part of the family.
When you are new to couponing, one of the big hurdles to overcome is simply getting everything sorted out and organized. So hopefully I can help! I spent a long time doing research and testing products and hopefully I have come up with a pretty decent custom coupon binder.
And I have 5 of them ready to go as a giveaway for five of you guys and I hope you like what I have pulled together! These binders are fully organized and even include a few complete coupon inserts so you are off to the races!
If you would like to win one custom binder filled with everything I think you need to get started using coupons (or move yourself up to the next level of using coupons) you have a few chances to win:
1. Just leave a comment below letting me know what system you use to organize your coupons. Do you have them in a nice binder already, an accordian file, envelopes, all crumbled up in the bottom of your purse? I was actually the latter of those selections until this weekend when I finally got through about a zillion coupons and now they are nicely organized. (whoot whoot!)
2. FOR A BONUS ENTRY: Just like My Frugal Adventures on Facebook. Easy peasy. Make sure to leave a SECOND comment letting me know we are friends!
AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WIN:
You can share this giveaway on your Facebook wall. I have extra binders all set to go and if one of your friends likes My Frugal Adventures and wins the giveaway, you get a binder just for referring them!
To share this on your wall just look for the little blue f in a square at the bottom of this post. It looks like this:
Click that and this giveaway will post to your wall!
So good luck! I will pick a winner on Thursday at 7pm PST.
*Note: I know there are lots of male readers these days which is just awesome. So not to worry I have a choice of two colors in the binder for each winner. So you guys won’t be hauling around a bright pink binder unless you decide that’s the one you want.

I have a super cute Mary Engelbreit small accordian file roughly the size of a checkbook. Since I’ve had it for about 10 years it is on its last legs though. 🙂 I would love to try out the binder and see if it is better. I do get tired of digging through the coupons.
I also follow you on Facebook. 🙂
I use the file folder method, where I keep all inserts together until I need them.
I use a small accordian envelope (from Target). It works well using your weekly posts, but when at the store and I see something on sale, it takes time to dig through to find the coupons and the kiddies are not too happy about mom taking so long. I’m new to this and am interested in trying out the binder option. Would LOVE to try this out with a binder from you!! I like you on Facebook too.
I use hanging file folders for my weekly coupon inserts (date/label each of them by type). For coupons that I use on a regular basis, those I clip and put in a small expanding accordion folder that goes with me everywhere in my purse. For my weekly shopping/coupon deals and coupons that are specific to stores, those go in “envelopes” that I have created out of plastic folders that I cut up to the size of coupons. They are color coded for each store to help me quickly identify them when I am shopping. 😀 I’ve thought about carrying a coupon binder as I have missed out on some deals of coupons that I have left at home in my hanging file folders….still debating, but I would love to see how well it worked by winning one! 😀

I have been wanting to use more and more coupons with rising prices and growing kids that eat a lot, but it is frustrating to me! I clip them on Sunday and put them in envelopes in my bag, but find when I get to the store it is hard to match them to products that weren’t in the Sunday paper, or I stand in the aisle trying to figure out if it’s better to get $1 off 3 or buy 2 smaller or 1 generic or what. Makes my head spin and I wonder if it’s even worth the hassle. Maybe a binder is what I am missing.
I currently keep them in an accordian file system with envelopes

I follow on facebook!
I don’t clip my coupons any longer… I leave them as they come in the newspaper. I have an accordion organizer but it is way to complicated for my liking.
I use two methods ….according file and calledp in my purse. My problem is I forget what coupons I have and don’t have and end up missing out in deals.

I use just plain business envelopes for my coupons. I have them divided into different catagories, but at the store this can be a mess if I see a deal and have to dig for a coupon. I’ve never tried a binder but would love to win one and give it a try.
Since I am re-newing my efforts to coupon I currently have no system! I need a binder badly! My purse and paper clips are all I use now and it’s not very efficient!
I was using a binder but with two kids it was too bigs so I organized them in a index file… and of course the bottom of my purse and diaper bag. I will share this on my mommy coupone exchange on facebook I know I have some friends looking to get started!
I am new to this so I just have them separated into envelopes and then put in to a large ziplock baggie. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to win one of your binders!
***I “lked” you also 🙂
I use the file system. I don’t cut any out of the newpaper, unless I am going to use them. As for the paper ones, they are in a drawer – no organization to them!
I have my coupons in a drawer in an old dresser in my garage. They are whole inserts and separated by date, marked with a sticky note. This is where I pull from when I’m making my list. But I also have a very large, hard case that I use to organize my loose coupons like tearpads and trades. I keep a binder in my car with a zippered pouch for each store. When I get my coupons together with my list, I slide them into the store pouch so they are always with me throughout the week.
In envelopes and crumpled in my purse.
I am a facebook fan!
I just glue the coupons on a piece of paper and stick them in a folder.. it is not a good way to do it but I have not had time to figure another way.

I am using two accordian files from the dollar bin. They have been working but i need to upgrade so i can remember what i have! I have been busy building my coupon stockpile!
I already use a binder system and I have a little purse type thing for the ones I use all the time.
I use an accordion file but really would love to start the binder system but don’t have the funds to start it up properly at the moment.
We are now friends on facebook 🙂

I am justing starting and am trying to organize a binder. I am struggling with how to catagorize the different coupons! Where does peanut butter and jelly go! LOL! Thanks for the chance to win this!
I just “liked” you. I also “liked” the pages to be entered in for the $2K =)
I have been attempting a binder, but my “system” could definitely use some organizational help! It would be so fun to win one from the ‘pros!’ Thank you for all you do!
I use a couple of folders and some envelopes. I would be so grateful for a better organizing system! 🙂
I use plain envelopes stuck in my diaper bag/purse. 🙂 Love this site- thank you!
I keep all my inserts on a shelf. Occasionally, I organize them by date. The ones I know I’ll use are in an envelope in my diaper bag/purse. I’m spending so much time finding the coupons, your giveaway would be awesome!
I actually put them all in a zip lock bag and always shuffle through them. I hate it, but haven’t had the time to get more organized with my coupons.
I use shoe boxes I really need to get them organized.
I am new and very unorganized……my system is laying on my counter in a pile 🙂
I use the purse method…aaarrrggghhh!!!
We are friends on facebook! 🙂
well I do a few things. I started with just an envelope then went to the accordian file folder then to a binder. I’ve had 3 binders (the first two were too small and fell apart), but this last one seems to be working well. My binder is pretty big and aside from separating my binder into categories i also have sections for stores i frequent often; target, rite aid, cvs, wags, safeway, raley’s etc. i put all the q’s i plan to use for that store in the proper section before i go to the stores so i just have to pull them out when i get to the store.
I also keep an envelope of “high value’ q’s or great q’s that are about to expire so i can make sure to check for those items when i go to different stores.
I Like MFA on FB and will share your awesome giveaway link!

I am using file folders and envelopes trying to find a system that works.
I use the binder method with the 9 pocket protector sheets!
