And on to the details of this giveaway!

I have talked about Ebates lots of times before, basically it is a cash back company.  You just register and whenever you want to shop online, just go to Ebates first and type in the name of the store (like Target or Barnes and Noble etc..)

You will see the cash back rate displayed and that is a rebate amount you will get back on your purchase.  So today they have 5% cash back to Home Depot.  If I placed a $100 order at Home Depot, I would receive $5 back in a check from Ebates.

It actually does add up fast and they mail checks quarterly.  So always a nice little surprise in the mailbox.  In addition, when you are new to Ebates they give you $5 in your account just for signing up.

Easy!  The only trick is that you need to have $5 or more in your account (not including that bonus) before your check is mailed.

    I signed up for Ebates some time ago from the info on your site, but have been so busy with work and school that I forget to use it. Hopefully things will be slowing down and I will get back on track with my savings.

    i have used ebates a few times and gotten 2 “big fat checks” from them, as they call them! it’s a great program i think…i just wish i remembered to go there first before all my online shopping. usually, i remember after i already bought something, and miss out on the little bit extra back! thanx for the chance to win!
