Well to follow up on the giveaway from last week, I decided to do another giveaway this week with 10 coupon binders. I couldn’t decide if I should give more binders away and use a standard plastic binder or give less away and use a nicer zippered binder. SO I decided to do both!
This time around you will receive one loaded coupon binder and it will have:
- Standard 2 inch binder
- Plastic coupon sleeves in 2 sizes
- Pencil Pouch
- Customizable Labels (I include labels for 2 methods of organizing so you can choose which you prefer)
- Tab Dividers
- 2 complete coupon inserts
- Detailed list of how to go about organizing your coupon binder and your inserts
- Couponing 101 Tips from me as well as menu planning sheets and more!
So we have more binders this week with the standard binder and then next week I will alternate with fewer binders and instead have a zippered, handle binder. The contents will be the same each time.
I am also working on getting a vlog together with exactly what I put together for these babies and how you can buy one of your very own!!

If you would like to win one custom binder filled with everything I think you need to get started using coupons (or move yourself up to the next level of using coupons) you have a few chances to win:
1. Just leave a comment below letting me know if you have any general coupon questions. If you don’t, that’s OK but I’d like to get ideas for future articles so ask away!
2. FOR A BONUS ENTRY: Just like My Frugal Adventures on Facebook. Easy peasy. Make sure to leave a SECOND comment letting me know we are friends!
AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WIN:
You can share this giveaway on your Facebook wall. I have extra binders all set to go and if one of your friends likes My Frugal Adventures and wins the giveaway, you get a binder just for referring them!
To share this on your wall just look for the little blue f in a square at the bottom of this post. It looks like this:

Organizing my coupons is where I struggle!
I was wondering about new ways to maximize both the downloadable discounts on shopper’s cards and print coupons. I also have a son with specific dietary needs and would like info on good sources for organic, GF, allergy friendly coupons.
Awesome idea! I can’t wait to “not” spend like a pro.
I just recently started couponing with my sister, Meg Dudley. We have always had a somewhat strained relationship and I think that this has given us some common ground to start rebuilding. As lame as it sounds, we get to save a lot more than just money doing this. I digress….
My question:
As I go through all the different ads, some have minimum total purchase required, some are for certain stores, only available if this planet is aligned with that planet and you face east while turning around eight times burping the alphabet. I feel so overwhelmed by the fine print sometimes that I might miss a really good deal. Any suggestions on being able to find the diamond in the rough with the minimalist effort? Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind working to get a little free, but I don’t want to add stress that I’m couponing wrong.
Look forward to hearing from you.
This is my husband’s facebook page so I’m sure he will be thrilled to see this! Maybe I’ll win a binder and he’ll win the house after he divorces me from posting on his wall a couponing comment. But hey, guys need to save too, and their toys are usually more expensive.
Just started couponing….This is the best website I have found to help me… I could use the binder mine are sitting in a folder.

Hi I am just getting started and find this all a bit overwhelming and confusing. Any hints for a newbie? I would love the coupon binder to get me going. One of my work friends has started extreme couponing and has challenged me to save $200 by the end of July. I better get moving. : )
I’d love to win a binder. Thanks for your emails

How do you arrange your coupons? I like to keep inserts uncut and arranged by date so I can use your site to find them easily. However, I don’t have a good system for arranging coupons from other sources. Also, do you throw away a lot of printed coupons?

What words of advice do you have for someone starting out? How to start being organized?
My question is: can you return something and buy it back with a coupon if you forget to use it?
No questions here, your ‘where to begin’ section has answered all of mine!

I was wondering if you thought it was worth it to occasionally clip & save, as opposed to full-on coupon organization?
I skipped couponing for a month (May) and I find that Safeway ads does not have the $10 minimum purchase wording anymore for in-ad coupons? Is this correct? Also, Thanks for the giveaway 🙂
I don’t have any questions right now. I would love one of these binders. I have a small accordian file right now and it just isn’t working.

I do ot have any stores in my area that double coupons. I wait until I see a really good sale on an item and the use my coupons for that item to get the best deal I can. Any other suggestins on how to save big bucks without store coupon doubling?
