There was some talk about this deal on the My Frugal Adventures Facebook page today and I thought I’d mention it one more time.
Target has Sally Hansen Nail Polish for $2.04
Use the $1/1 Target coupon for Sally Hansen (located under beauty)
and use the $1/1 Sally Hansen coupon
Final Price: as low as $.04
(one of my stores has it at $2.54 and the other at $2.04- so yours might be a little higher)
There is also a coupon for $2 off any Sally Hansen treatment item when you buy a polish
Treatment items start at $1.97 at my store
So buy both items and use all 3 coupons and hopefully you just pay .04 after coupons!
You can see more Target coupon deals for the week here.

Thats weird because I was at my Target yesterday (SUAVE!) and didnt see these SH on sale?! I price checked and they were 4 something. May have to run back tomorrow and double-check. Do you know which exact SH product it is thats on sale? TIA.
Yeah it is the Xtreme wear I think they are called. You should be able to click on the photo to enlarge it. It is round and the regular price is like $2.69 or something.
Okay, thanks I will try and see if they have it tomorrow. And BTW-hope you dont mind–but Amazon has the Nutiva coconut oil deal again, 2-54oz (108 oz total) containers for 36 w/ S&S.
Yeah I was thinking of the nutiva this morning. I am going to post it tomorrow morning ๐
I am only two weeks into my couponing and so far I am in love. My local target has the nail polish for 2.17. This lady was giving me a really bad time and wouldn’t let me use all three coupons. I kept trying to explain it to her but she wouldn’t do it cause my total was so low for the two items. I left with my coupons and went to another target and I didn’t have a problem at all. Have you ever experinced any problem when couponing? also on june 26 newspaper there was a coupon for $5 off any two revlon beauty tools, I picked up nail clippers and files for free, whooohooo
I got the Salley Hansen deal, but my Target was charging 2.49 for the polish. I’m in Southern California. Still a good deal. I also took advantage of the $5.00- Revlon Tools. I used two but the register rang the two higher price items together and then the lower price items ended up being free. The only thing it didn’t show the other $5.00- and the free items only came to $3.46 . I should have only paid $2.44 for all four items.:( Does this happen to anyone else?
Jennifer I thought I was nuts because my store has the Xtreme polish for $2.54. I had so many people tell me $2.04 so I checked a second place (same city mind you) and the price was lower. I thought .54 was a great deal though ๐ Wasn’t that coupon $5/2? so shouldn’t you have $10 off for 4 items? I didn’t get the coupon so I am not sure what it said.
Yes, it should have been $10- off of the 4 items. The way it grouped the items affected the amount off. All four items =$12.44 then if it was $10- off it should have been a total of $2.44 for all 4 items and I actually paid $3.98 so it looks like they only took $8.46 off instead of $10. Should I do these types of transactions seperately?
Thanks!
Jennifer
Well I am not sure. I think sometimes those Target coupons automatically adjust down to the price of the items so maybe that is what happened? The policy is not to allow overage. I find I almost always get overage anyway but maybe you just picked a stinker.
@Isabel- Yeah I went through some drama myself when I started using coupons. Don’t be fooled by the TV show that shows someone getting handed a $50 bill and getting a high five for all their great savings. That doesn’t actually happen in real life ๐ The #1 rule to using coupons is picking a good cashier. A bad one can ruin a trip in a matter of minutes. Look for the young people that seem cheerful or the people that appear to be fast and competent or in a position of authority. For some reason I always have a problem with middle aged people or older ladies. For some reason there are just certain people that treat you like using a coupon is the same thing as stealing money out of their pockets. I have never understood it- but head up and you will get a thicker skin. I almost never have issues these days and if I do, I don’t bother to argue. I just ask for a manager or go to customer service to get a refund for the coupon value. I think you gain an air of confidence the more you shop (and when you do things right and you know you are right) and you just don’t have the same problems anymore.
