I was recently sent a sample of Walgreens Brand Antibiotic ointment to try.   As we all know, most of the time brand name products can be less expensive than store brand items when you combine coupons and sales.

There are lots of occasions when you might be in a pinch to get a medication or pain reliever and I like the convenience of finding quality store brands at reasonable prices.

Walgreens does offer a ton of different Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products at really reasonable prices that compare to name brands.  I tested the antibiotic ointment compared to some Neosporin that I already had on hand and there was no difference that I could tell.

In regards to pricing, the Walgreens brand was priced at $5.99 for 1.0oz and the Neosporin was $8.99 for the same size.

Many of the products have the same ingredients as national brands and Walgreens offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee so if there is a product you don’t care for, just return it for a full refund!

One last point to mention is the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™.  They donate .01 from every Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness item sold to local charities, up to $3 million annually.

    i tried the infant pain reliver. Same results as using Tylenol but much cheaper.

    I love walgreens brand headache relief it is comparble to excerdin but works so much better.

    I recently tried the Walgreen’s brand allergy medicine. I believe it was called Wal-adryn or something like that. Basically Benedryl, but the Wags brand. I found it to work just as well and it was priced waaaay less. Last night I ran in to buy the Wags brand training pants, my girls love them. They have frogs and princesses on them and since they wear them at night they like being able to choose which picture every night.

    Them either comparable or even surpassing the name

    We love Walgreens. We always buy the store brand on cold meds, pain relief, etc.

    I use Walgreens brand products all the time, like ibuprofin, walatin, etc. and I think their quality is fine.

    I enjoy off brand most of the time it is just the same sometimes better. I have only tried Walgreen’s ibuprofen and it worked for me!
