I have a very fun giveaway just in time for Father’s Day. This one is for a GelPro Chef’s mat. These mats are really fantastic and are most commonly used in the kitchen to provide extra support and comfort.
I have been looking at these mats for awhile because I am always trying to think of great gifts for my Dad (the man who has everything). He is very fussy about good quality so I try to find good value and products that are worth the investment. He is building a house and I was trying to think of something great to get as a Housewarming gift.
So I found Gelpro mats awhile back and I have been looking at them for awhile. These are mats that are designed to provide extra support for people that spend a lot of time standing or have lower back problems, arthritis etc… The designs they offer are really beautiful and the mat has an extra cushy gel core that is extremely comfortable.
So these are perfect for people that stand in place for long periods of time. My Dad grills by the pool all summer long so I was thinking he might want to have this outside or he might use it in his workshop where he tinkers around with his toys.. I mean tools… for hours at a time.
I got to test drive a Gelpro mat and I can say it is really fantastic. These are super plush and you sort of sink into it. I tend to stand in the kitchen cooking and working on the computer and stuff for long periods of time so this was fantastic for me.
These are not cheap mats by any means- they run about $60 for an 18×24″ mat. I found them to be very durable and the one I received cleans up beautifully so I felt it was worth the money. We used to have a throw rug in the kitchen which I was never a fan of considering I have 2 active toddlers and a dog running around. This gelpro mat does not budge so you don’t need to worry about any accidents which is especially nice for pregnant women, if you have little ones or seniors in your house.
There are a zillion colors and styles to choose from. I picked the Hazelnut Basketweave and I think it looks really sharp in our kitchen.
They are offering 40% off some mats right now- so they start at $41.95 in the clearance area!

AND GelPro has provided one My Frugal Adventures reader with a mat of your choice in 20″ x 36″ size. These retail at about $120 so this a great giveaway!
If you would like to win a mat of your own, just leave a comment below and let me know where you would use your Gelpro? In the office, in the bathroom? in the kitchen? There are a lot of places these would come in handy.

I would definitely use it in the kitchen. All the time I spend standing in the kitchen really impacts my feet. :p I would love to have one of those mats! 🙂

I’d use this in my kitchen. We don’t have a dishwasher, so I spend a lot of time on my feet doing dishes.
I receive your emails!!
I would probably take it to my office. It’s like standing on rocks when you don’t get to sit down for hours at a time.

I would love to have the GelPro mat for my kitchen. It would be great after a long day of work on my feet to step on something flexible instead of a hard tile floor. And looks pretty too.
I would definitely use mine in the kitchen!
A GelPro mat would be awesome at my kitchen sink! I cook every night and spend a lot of time washing dishes. By the end of day, my back is killing me……..i think my new mat would make me smile instead of growl! Thanks for the giveaway!!!!!
I cook three-a-day for 10 of us…umm…thinking the Kitchen… 🙂
I would give it to my Mom. She love to cook and bake but as she is getting older her back hurts her more. If this could help her just a little that would be enough for me 😉
I would love to give this product to my Mom. She loves to cook and bake but as she gets older her back bothers her more and more. If this could help her just a little I would be ever so happy for her.
We need a new kitchen rug.
I would love to have a GelPro for my kitchen. I have low back problems and my back becomes tired, stiff, and sore very quickly when I’m on my feet.
I would love to try a mat in the kitchen in front of the sink.
I have just started shopping for a new rug for my kitchen. This would be a great choice!

Hi,
I’ve always wanted to try one of these. If I win, I’ll use the mat in my kitchen, under my sink, where it would be used several times a day, daily.

I would definitely put it by the kitchen sink and counter area where we do most of our food prep and stand the longest in one place.
