{CLOSED} Giveaway: GelPro Chef’s Mat

06/15/2011 By Charlene

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

I have a very fun giveaway just in time for Father’s Day.  This one is for a GelPro Chef’s mat.  These mats are really fantastic and are most commonly used in the kitchen to provide extra support and comfort.

I have been looking at these mats for awhile because I am always trying to think of great gifts for my Dad (the man who has everything).  He is very fussy about good quality so I try to find good value and products that are worth the investment.  He is building a house and I was trying to think of something great to get as a Housewarming gift.

So I found Gelpro mats awhile back and I have been looking at them for awhile.  These are mats that are designed to provide extra support for people that spend a lot of time standing or have lower back problems, arthritis etc…  The designs they offer are really beautiful and the mat has an extra cushy gel core that is extremely comfortable.

So these are perfect for people that stand in place for long periods of time.  My Dad grills by the pool all summer long so I was thinking he might want to have this outside or he might use it in his workshop where he tinkers around with his toys.. I mean tools… for hours at a time.

I got to test drive a Gelpro mat and I can say it is really fantastic.  These are super plush and you sort of sink into it.  I tend to stand in the kitchen cooking and working on the computer and stuff for long periods of time so this was fantastic for me.

These are not cheap mats by any means- they run about $60 for an 18×24″ mat.  I found them to be very durable and the one I received cleans up beautifully so I felt it was worth the money.  We used to have a throw rug in the kitchen which I was never a fan of considering I have 2 active toddlers and a dog running around.  This gelpro mat does not budge so you don’t need to worry about any accidents which is especially nice for pregnant women, if you have little ones or seniors in your house.

There are a zillion colors and styles to choose from.  I picked the Hazelnut Basketweave and I think it looks really sharp in our kitchen.

They are offering 40% off some mats right now- so they start at $41.95 in the clearance area!

**

AND GelPro has provided one My Frugal Adventures reader with a mat of your choice in 20″ x 36″ size.  These retail at about $120 so this a great giveaway!

If you would like to win a mat of your own, just leave a comment below and let me know where you would use your Gelpro?  In the office, in the bathroom? in the kitchen?  There are a lot of places these would come in handy.

BONUS ENTRY: Get a bonus entry if you subscribe to MFA via email, follow on Twitter or like me on Facebook .  Be sure to leave a second comment letting me know!

*Please be sure to actually leave a comment below.  Any emails, Facebook messages or tweets will not be counted.  If you are viewing this in a newsletter just click through to the blog to leave your comment.

Oh Man!, I could use this in the kitchen! (I wonder how it would work if they were to make one for a chair. I sew at the kitchen table and, after awhile, those hard chairs are a killer on my back and butt bones!)
