There is a new offer from Vistaprint available today to get 10 cards or announcements for free. You will need to pay shipping and I tested it and it was $2.24 to my house. So about .22 per card.
There are bunch of themes and styles to choose from and I have to say I was surprised at how nice some of these look! Usually Vistaprint is pretty limited in what you can order, but many of the styles I found are really professionally designed.
You don’t need any codes, just head over here to see the designs available. Be careful when checking out because they always try to sell you tons of other products. When I tested this offer, the invitations also came with free envelopes so that should be standard for everyone.
I just tried to use this and get 10 free invitations. However, I didn’t see any shipping that was less than $6 something. Bummer. I don’t want to pay that much in shipping. Everything was free but that. It seemed too much for just 10 invites.
I believe I just saw a 50% and free shipping deal on Recyclebank for 100 points. I know the 50% off wouldn’t do anybody any good since this is already free, but if it gets you free shipping, might be worth it if you have the points. I didn’t read the fine print, but just thought I’d mention it in case someone’s interested.
K- that sounds exceptionally high. Can you tell me how you figured the $6 shipping? I selected an invite and went through to the final stages of checkout and that was the price for me. Is it possible you added any extras to your cart? Or did you look at expedited shipping by chance?
I use them all the time. You can get a TON of free stuff and just get it all at once and then pay $15 shipping. But I have gotten car signs, garage sale signs, shirt, hat, tote, note cards, business cards, postcards (that I use for thank you cards) and magnet calendars with kids pictures on them all for that shipping rate. I have also used their wedding products for my best friend’s wedding this past weekend. They are very nice, just make sure you take the vistaprint logo at the bottom out (just edit it and cut it right out). But the key is to get as much free stuff as you can for the one shipping rate that will be high. (they send weekly emails if you sign up for them filled with free or half price stuff)
Does anyone know if the announcements (cards) are printed on photo paper or cardstock. I have ordered thank you cards before and they were okay. I really want the baby announcements to be done on photo paper like snapfish has. Please let me know.
Delia, I don’t think this is going to be on photo paper. I am going to post another deal probably tomorrow morning that will work better for what you want.
I think it depends on where it’s being shipped. It was about $6 for me, too – and that was standard shipping. the super-slow (21 days) was about $5.

i just ordered mine and it was $4.97 for slow 21 day shipping, i also had forgotten that i had credit from them for $6 so i didnt have to pay anything this time.yay!!!
