Just a quick reminder to clean out those pantries today!
The annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive is TODAY and this is really the easiest way to donate food items to local shelters and food banks.
You simply bag up any nonperishable food items you have on hand and leave it at your mailbox for your letter carrier. They will take the items to donate to a charity in your area.
They are only looking for food donations and prefer items that are not in jars. This is a great time to clean out the pantry and donate cereal, soups, rice, pasta… anything you might have on hand that you don’t need would be appreciated!
You can get all the details on the Stamp Out Hunger food drive here.

I love this service. We try to only eat whole grain pasta, but I don’t like to pass up deals on free pasta, so I had a ton of non-whole grain accumulated. I’m really bad at driving things over to be donated, so this is perfect for me 🙂 I love how easy it was for me to fill a large whole foods bag with food that I got for free!
