I just wanted to mention the CVS coupon scanner seems to be printing $3 off a $15 grocery purchase coupon this week. You are not guaranteed to get this coupon but I wanted to let you know to keep scanning that card until it tells you no more coupons just in case.
There is a nice deal this week on Pepsi products, you can probably buy milk and eggs or whatever you might need.
I am actually looking forward to the Fig Newton cookies which are priced at $1.50. There are $1/1 coupons from 5/8 SS that make them $1.50.
You can see this week’s CVS deals here.
Are the cookies $2.50 before the coupon or $1.50?
Have you been to CVS yet? When I got to my CVS (Central Ohio), they informed me that, “there is no ad.” There was no ad in my Sunday paper and there were no ads in-store. None of the deals from the ad (ECB, prices, etc) were working at my store. I blogged about it, if you want more details. Basically, I was told (very nicely!) that CVS is trying something new – and it might just be regional. Curious who else (if anyone) had the same experience.
Jill are you in Portland, Houston or Kansas City?
Nancy- $2.50 before. I think $1.50 is a great price for Fig Newtons 🙂 These are a new variety.
Thanks Charlene! I’m relatively new to this and have only been to my local CVS once so I hope they have all I’ll be looking for. I have a bunch of those cookie coupons and I’m hoping they’re all stocked up!
I got a $3 off $10 of ‘healthcare’.
No – Central Ohio
I bought the new Fig Newtons when they were the same price at Safeway and they are yummy! I liked all the flavors but my kids liked the chocolate ones best. They are relatively low cal and high fiber too, which is a plus.
We had the add & ECB’s for Austin this week. I know our store is a “test” store. Also got the $3 off healthcare q. Hope to get the grocery q today!
Just visited my CVS coupon scanner. Didn’t get the grocery one today, but I will keep scanning throughout this week. Today I did get a nice coupon for possible free facial cleansing towelettes — it says “$1.50 off CVS Facial Cleansing Towelettes. Compare to Olay! Up to $1.50 value” and I saw a 5-ct package in the travel section for $1.49 (and on sale for buy one, get one 50% off). I’m going to keep scanning every day checking to see what else prints.
I started planning for what groceries I will get when the coupon does print: Milk (thx Charlene), 4–Kraft Homestyle Mac & Cheese Dinner (makes 4 cups) @ $2.50 – $1 manu coupons from inserts, x5/17 = $1.50 ea.
Love the CVS coupon scanner, better than Las Vegas!
I got mine today and stacked up on lots of granola bars that were on sale. Coincidentally I went in needing them and got the bonus of the coupon and the sale!
