Target: Maybelline Gift Card Offer

Update: I tried this today at my store that DID NOT have the signs posted and it did not prompt the gift card.  I believe this is a promotion at select stores only. Reader Noemi found this was a $5 card when you buy THREE- so again just check at your store and see what you find.

This is an odd deal and I am going to tell you about it but I can’t promise you will find this offer.  I think it is worth looking for if you are already planning a trip to Target.

They have an unadvertised gift card offer on Maybelline lip items- buy 2 and get a $5 gift card.

Now one of my stores did not have any signage indicating this sale- but I went to a second store and I did find the signs pictured above. So this could be just at select stores or maybe store #1 for me just dropped the ball on getting tags up.

Anyway, if you do find this deal it is a good one!

Buy 2 Maybelline lip items starting at $4.94
use (2) $2/1 Maybelline lip items from 2/6 RP (these expire 4/6!)
Pay $5.88 and get a $5 gift card back!

So you have three choices to get this deal:

1. If you see the signs you should have no problem.
2. If you don’t you can try scanning the products at the price scanner and it should list a gift card available on the right hand side. This is only for stores with the new scanners that have a full screen not the cruddy old ones with a tiny, narrow screen.
3. If you are stuck with cruddy scanners, you can take 2 of them up to the register. Once the cashier scans the second item it will immediately prompt them to scan the gift card. If the prompt does not come up you can just ask them to remove the items from your transaction.
