There is a nice deal on Pillow Pets today only at Toys R Us.
Buy 2 pets at $19.99
Get a $10 gift card back
Making the final price $14.99 each
If you can use two of these and you can use a TRU gift card, this might not be a bad deal.
It looks like this is in store only. ย If you don’t care to make the trip, I think Amazon has very reasonable prices as well.
They have tons of Pillow Pets starting around $17.03 and they ship free with AmazonMom/Prime or a $25 order.

Hi, you might want to know that I have been seeing a lot of Pillow Pets at our Marshall’s for 12.99. Yesterday, they had the lion, dolphin, unicorn, monkey, panda, etc. ๐
Charlene says
You know Nicole I heard that before. I checked Ross when I was last there and I saw them too for $14 I think but they did not look good to me ๐ They appeared to be used already or maybe they just had a rough life. I think it might have been my store.

Our $20 REAL lady bug pillow pet lasted about 2 months after Christmas before it ripped open at one of the black spots, even though the girls are very nice with their toys (I still have toys in great shape from when my 3-year old was born). Our rip-off version for $7.99 that we got somewhere else is still perfect. I’ve been wondering if I want to risk spending money on the bunny.

Really Jen? My 3yo sleeps with her Unicorn every night and I have washed it several times and it is OK. I heard from a reader over the holidays that had one from Target and one from Amazon and she said one was perfect and the other fell apart. My Pillow Pets brand. Makes me wonder if they had a bad batch or something.

I went to OSH the other day and found pillow pets there. They had the valentine dog and unicorn for $12.99

Charlene – I was shocked! I was so bent on not buying the $8 one, because I figured it would fall apart, but I couldn’t see spending $20 for each girl (technically I didn’t even spend that – I got mine at Rite Aid) so I just bought the $8 one for the younger kid to make things fair so they wouldn’t fight over the one. I’m going to try to fix the lady bug because it looks like it lost some stitching, but it was a shock to find my youngest trying to figure out if the pillow stuffing was food. =|

Our Wallgreens had the panda and one other animal (I can’t remember which one) on clearance for $10 but all of the other animals were regular price. We have a panda (bought from Pillowpet website back before any of the stores carried the panda), unicorn (from Target) and bee (from BRU) that we’ve had since last fall and all of them have been washed multiple times and have held up well. I really didn’t want to buy them because the last thing we needed was more stuffed animals not to mention we dropped $60 on them (plus shipping for the panda) but my 3 girls still sleep with them every night and play with them often.
