I saw a sign about this yesterday at the Starbucks inside Safeway. This offer should be available nationwide at Starbucks stores and since I saw it at a kiosk inside a store, I am thinking it might be available at Starbucks inside Target etc…
If you take any reusable mug into your Starbucks on Earth Day (Friday 22nd) you can get a free cup of tea or coffee.
They are also offering 20% off travel mug purchases in store tomorrow only. I saw this posted on Facebook:
“What if you can’t bring in a mug and don’t want to buy a new one? That’s okay too. Just request your coffee or tea in one of our “for-here” cups and Starbucks will pick up the tab.”
So you have lots of options to score your free drink. This does say participating stores only so as always, you might want to call ahead and confirm.

Is this for regular brewed coffee only or are latte’s included?

Not sure where to post this…but since we are on the topic of Starbucks – the Starbucks in Target (Waterbury, CT) offers refills. If you bring in your receipt it’s $0.52 for a refill and if you bring the cup back it’s $0.40 (but the throw the cup away and don’t reuse it….LOL). I didn’t want to post this until I tried it and I did it the other day! They even said the refill could be a different drink (which makes no sense – but I won’t argue). Worth a shot to ask at other Starbucks in Target. I asked the woman and she said it’s a new policy they started about 6 weeks ago.

@Shannon, if you have a registered Starbucks Card you can get free refills on Brewed Coffee or Tea, free syrups and milk, Free Beverage with Whole Bean Purchase and the best is that they mail you a postcard on your B-day! good for a handcrafted beverage of your choice… just got mine some days ago.
@Charlene, thanks for the reminder, i remember last year this offer, it was gooooood, we brought our mugs last year for the free coffee… =)

@Jose….Thanks. I do that at regular Starbuck’s but the Target ones (at least near me) don’t participate in the rewards. They say their registers aren’t set up for it since they are Target registers.
