I mentioned this new Kindle a few weeks ago but it looks like they are available to ship now from Amazon.
These are Kindles with commericals if you will, they are special version of the Kindle that is $25 less than then the regular version.
These have “sponsored screensavers” (aka commericals) that come up when you are not reading on your device. I was wondering if it was worth the $25 savings to be subjected to commericals but they actually don’t look that noticable- Amazon has an example of the screensaver here:

I couldn’t live without my Kindle! If it’s only a screensaver it’s absolutely worth it. Some of the “commercials” are exclusive offers which sound pretty awesome!
Really Cali? I am not sold on the Kindle only because I have an iPad and iPhone so it seems an embarrassment of riches 😉
I’m not sure it’s worth it….we are subjected to commercials everywhere we go….I will gladly pay the $25 more.
Now if were $75-$100 less I would probably go for it!
