This giveaway is in honor of a new promotion Home Depot is running for the next few weeks. They will have Black Friday type sales running Thursday-Sunday on all sorts of seasonal items like lawn mowers and outdoor power tools.
This promotion is slightly different for each area but it begins Thursday, March 31 through Sunday, April 3rd in markets including Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Columbia SC, Dallas/Ft. Worth, El Paso, Fresno, Greenville SC, Jacksonville, Memphis, Nashville, Portland, Raleigh, Sacramento, San Francisco and Seattle.

My spring/summer project is to actually figure out growing my own veggies. After years of little success, I’m actually starting earlier and going to try a portable greenhouse. I also subscribe via email.

Our spring project is revamping the outside of our home. We just moved in last summer and spent the summer, fall and winter working on the inside….now it’s time to spruce up the outside. A new patio and a lot of gardening….it will be a busy spring and summer!

We just found out that we have a plot in the community garden. This is our first year gardening so we need to get tools and many other garden items. We started off by building a pea pod hut. I am excited about our first year of growing our own food!

We have a reel mower with dull blades, so either need to sharpen them or get a new reel mower. We’re also planning our backyard vegetable & fruit garden which we’ll start in April. Home Depot is where we’ll shop for both these projects!
