This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

Well I am super excited about the giveaway today.  I have TWO $50 gift cards for two lucky MFA readers.

This giveaway is in honor of a new promotion Home Depot is running for the next few weeks.  They will have Black Friday type sales running Thursday-Sunday on all sorts of seasonal items like lawn mowers and outdoor power tools.

This promotion is slightly different for each area but it begins Thursday, March 31 through Sunday, April 3rd in markets including Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Columbia SC, Dallas/Ft. Worth, El Paso, Fresno, Greenville SC, Jacksonville, Memphis, Nashville, Portland, Raleigh, Sacramento, San Francisco and Seattle.

The specific deals will be posted at midnight on Thursday at HomeDepot.com. You will want to be sure to enter your zip code to get the deals specific to your city.

Additionally, starting Friday, March 18th Home Depot will have select items available to purchase on Facebook at 50-75% off regular retail.

Here are a few examples of the types of deals we will see:

  • 7-Piece Martha Stewart Living Cardona Dining Set, was $499, now $299
  • Brinkmann Pro Series Four Burner Gas Grill, was $369, now $199
  • Ames 4-wheel Garden Cart, was $39.97, now $19.97
  • 16oz Miracle-Gro Liquafeed Advance Starter Kit with Sprayer was $12.48, now $6.24
  • 1.33 Gallon Roundup Extended Control Weed and Grass Killer Plus Weed Preventer, Ready To Use , now $9.88, compare at $19.96

—————————————————*————————————————–

AND to celebrate two of you will each win a $50 gift card to get started on your spring projects.

You have TWO chances to win:

1. If you would like to enter, just leave a comment below letting me know if you have any spring projects planned.  We have an endless list basically but the first order of business is sectioning off a play area for the girls.  (Since our backyard has a huge uncovered pool).

2. BONUS ENTRY: And get a bonus entry if you subscribe to MFA via email, follow on Twitter or like me on Facebook .  Be sure to leave a second comment letting me know!

*Please be sure to actually leave a comment below.  Any emails, Facebook messages or tweets will not be counted.  If you are viewing this in a newsletter just click through to the blog to leave your comment.

This giveaway will run through Saturday at noon PST.

GOOD LUCK!

With what happened in Japan I am thinking of getting together a place where I can store emergency supplies. I have a small spot in the laundry room and was thinking of going to home depot to get a shelf of some kind to hold canned foods and other things. This would help a lot.

We too have an endless list of plans, but the most important to us right now is spending some blood sweat and heavy labor making our garden more functional. We aim to have a good enough garden to be able to cut costs on fresh vegetables through the summer, and enough tomatoes and cucumbers to can to last the whole year through!

Just a few things on that list of many projects is some re-painting, replace some boards on our deck, replace the kitchen faucet, and the windows are in much need of replacing. Thank You!
