{CLOSED} Giveaway: 8GB iPod Nano

I have a fun giveaway for today courtesy of Ebates.  They are offering one lucky My Frugal Adventures reader an 8GB iPod Nano (retail value $149.99).

Ebates is a cash back company many of us know and love.  They offer cash back rebates for your online purchases.  So for example, if you decided to buy an item from the Disney Store today, you would get 7% cash back on your purchase.

So if you spend $100 on an item- that would be $7.00 in the form of a rebate back.  Easy!  Now the cash back amount will vary according to the store- as of posting the cash back amount on Target.com purchases is 3%.  So if you spent $100 at Target.com you would get a rebate back for $3. Sometimes the cash back amount can be as high as 50% or more for certain retailers- so it can really start to add up.

  • To get started with Ebates you first need to register for an account.
  • Then you will want to go to Ebates.com before you shop online.  Type in the name of the site you want to shop at- like Sephora.com, Oldnavy.com,Target.com, etc..
  • If they offer cash back to that site you will immediately see a percentage- for example 2% from Old Navy today or 4% from Sephora today.
  • Then just click through the shop now button and shop as usual.
  • Your rebate amount will show up in your account within a few days and they will actually mail you a check quarterly!
  • If you are new to Ebates you can register and they will also give you a $5 bonus for signing up.

If you would like to win theiPod Nano provided by Ebates just register for a new account (if you are already registered you don’t need to do a thing.)

Then just leave a comment below letting me know what you would use your Nano for!  Is it for yourself, for a gift?  I would probably use the Nano myself for a few mental health breaks during the day (two kids under 3 can be a tiny bit noisy at times.)

    I’d gift it to my parents who are pastors an constantly on the go. I’ve got them hooked on podcasts so they can’t get enough sermons to listen to while keeping busy!

    I would LOVE this new nano. I would use it to put children’s music on for my daugher for the car!
    I am a fan on facebook, I check the website daily and now via email!

    I would use it for me. We do long car rides and when the kids go to sleep I can listen to my music and not wake them up.

    I actually would like it to put my kids favorite music on it. that way no matter where we went, they would be able to listen to it. my 2 year old likes “dream a dream” by that lady from the talent show…she knows half the words already. I think that could give ME a break…especially when they are in the cart at the grocery store!!

    This is one I would keep for myself. I have bought several MP3 players for all of my kids and never got one for myself. I love to listen to music while I am doing my housework.

    I would use it for myself for working out. My last one was stolen and I promised myself I wouldn’t get a new one until I could get it for free with swagbucks amazon gc or target gc.

    Love my ebates! I would use the nano so I can have my iPod back from my dog who listens to music on it during the day when he is home alone.

    I would use it to listen to all my favorite songs while I’m cleaning! With a 2year old and a 6month old there’s always something to clean!
