{CLOSED} Giveaway: 8GB iPod Nano

I have a fun giveaway for today courtesy of Ebates.  They are offering one lucky My Frugal Adventures reader an 8GB iPod Nano (retail value $149.99).

Ebates is a cash back company many of us know and love.  They offer cash back rebates for your online purchases.  So for example, if you decided to buy an item from the Disney Store today, you would get 7% cash back on your purchase.

So if you spend $100 on an item- that would be $7.00 in the form of a rebate back.  Easy!  Now the cash back amount will vary according to the store- as of posting the cash back amount on Target.com purchases is 3%.  So if you spent $100 at Target.com you would get a rebate back for $3. Sometimes the cash back amount can be as high as 50% or more for certain retailers- so it can really start to add up.

  • To get started with Ebates you first need to register for an account.
  • Then you will want to go to Ebates.com before you shop online.  Type in the name of the site you want to shop at- like Sephora.com, Oldnavy.com,Target.com, etc..
  • If they offer cash back to that site you will immediately see a percentage- for example 2% from Old Navy today or 4% from Sephora today.
  • Then just click through the shop now button and shop as usual.
  • Your rebate amount will show up in your account within a few days and they will actually mail you a check quarterly!
  • If you are new to Ebates you can register and they will also give you a $5 bonus for signing up.

If you would like to win theiPod Nano provided by Ebates just register for a new account (if you are already registered you don’t need to do a thing.)

Then just leave a comment below letting me know what you would use your Nano for!  Is it for yourself, for a gift?  I would probably use the Nano myself for a few mental health breaks during the day (two kids under 3 can be a tiny bit noisy at times.)

    I would use my Nano while excercising. I joined WW a few weeks ago and it’s time to start excercising. The only place is in the basement where there is no TV to watch anything on the treadmill so the Nano would come in handy!

    If I won the ipod nano I would give it to my husband because he’s been asking for an mp3 player but since money is on the tight side right now I just can’t justify buying one for him. So this would definitely be a very nice gift.

    If I were to win I would use it for my 9 month daughter. I know it sounds crazy but I breastfeed exclusively and being a stay at home mom she’s glued to my hip, literally lol.

    It can be hard at times, like when I have to cook or go coupon shopping. She wants me to carry her but there is one solution that always works, there’s this song she loves that I play for her since birth. It’s by a Samoan Artist, Aaradhna called “I’m Never”. Every time she hears this she stops crying. It’s our ringtone on the phone and whenever I’m shopping I give her the phone. But ofcourse she always puts her mouth on it and I’m suprised she hasn’t water damaged it by now. LOL

    But I would use it to help calm her with her “lullaby”. It would be more convenient. And of course I would get a cover for it =)

    I am very experienced ebates user. I love ebates and use that whenever I shop online. I love getting my extra money at the end of the month!
    I would love to get a new nano, especially this one because it is small enough to run with.
