This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

Be sure to read all about the ad perk coupons HERE. Lately the ads have had some variation from region to region so you might want to double check your local ad.

You can read about the new Wellness program at Rite Aid HERE! Many of these prices are only available with this card- they are clearly indicated in the ad.

There is a special +Up Reward for $20 back when you spend $100 on select items. Any item that counts toward this reward I have indicated with an *. The +Up only runs through January 22nd so you have a little time to work out your transactions. Be sure to double check the ad because not every item is included in the matchups.

Also, there is a $4/20 coupon available right now.  You need to watch a grand total of 15 ad perk videos for beauty products only and you should be able to get the coupon!

This does really make for a great deal because there are several items that are $1 this week- so they are all free even without any coupons after +Up.

I’d love to get feedback this week on formatting these deals by category.  Is this easier to follow the matchups?  Personally I like them listed chronologically as they appear in the ad- which is how I have done them in the past.  So let me know if you have a vote one way or another!

I have a question for you Charlene, Do I have to buy 3 difference products to get Aveeno mail and rebate? Can I buy all 3 clean and clear products and submit for the rebate?
    Thank you,

  2. Charlene says

    01/08/2011 at 12:18 AM

Yulean, I read the rebate and the way I read it sounded like you can buy any 3 you want. You can double check the rebate that comes in the 1/9 paper though to be sure.

  3. Jaclyn says

    01/08/2011 at 1:53 AM

I like the categories, but do what is easiest for you. Thanks for all of your hard work & getting the Rite Aid aid up early. My ad starts on Thursdays & I usually have to wait until Sat or SUn for match ups on other blogs.

  4. becky says

    01/08/2011 at 4:20 AM

It doesnt matter to me which way do the way that is easiest for you I can always rearrange them in wordpad that is the least I can do. Thanks again for all the work and I to appreciate the deals being up early that gives me time to get myself organized

  5. Hannah says

    01/08/2011 at 8:44 AM

I like it either way! Thank you.

  6. Wendy says

    01/08/2011 at 8:46 AM

I agree with Jacyln. Do what’s easiest for you.

  7. jessica g says

I looked at the organix rebate = ended 12/31/10 (the ones on the bottle) I do have a hang tag for a $3 rebate though from awhile back… not sure if that has a date on it..

  8. Jessica T says

    01/08/2011 at 11:01 AM

Either way is great! Do what is easiest for you. My personal favorite thing about your matchups and your site is….get ready for this because it is pretty lame……your font size and style. As silly as that sounds, it is very clear and easy to read. I love it!!! Thanks for all your hard work.

  9. Randi says

    01/08/2011 at 12:53 PM

    Charlene,

Do whichever is easier for you, you’re already doing us a great service by doing the match ups. I personally prefer to have it done by the ad, I look through the ad as I’m reading your list and gather my coupons then. Thanks!

  10. meryl says

    01/08/2011 at 1:27 PM

I’m with Jessica T- LOOOOVE font size/style- very neat, clean and easy to read!!!

As for preference- whatever this way is as this one is easy to follow for me when organizing my deals/Q’s- what’s the difference than before, not sure I understand?

  11. Jenna says

    01/08/2011 at 1:52 PM

Whatever is easier for you but along with ad is quick for me to find if our ad includes the deal too as it doesn’t always have the same ones.

  12. Claire says

    01/08/2011 at 2:19 PM

Hi Charlene, your blog is the greatest and I’m grateful for whatever way you do your deals. I wanted to let you know I’m having some tech. difficulties checking off the box next to the Stayfree and also when I generate the list, there are problems printing. Also, the neutrogena coupon in All You in Dec issue expired 12/31/10. Also, when you try to do the links from your print your list page, they are all bad links. You can get to the places but you just have to delete some of the url. Thanks!

  13. Claire says

    01/08/2011 at 2:21 PM

Sorry – my bad – I was looking at Nov 10 issue of All you instead of Dec 10.

  14. Heather says

    01/08/2011 at 2:22 PM

Does anyone know if the Aveeno shampoos will generate the 10+up wyb 25?

  15. Charlene says

    01/08/2011 at 2:29 PM

Heather, yes they will. See how I have the hair care listed under the whole section with the $10 +Up reward? I try to keep everything together so it makes sense and you can mix and match your own scenarios.

  16. Charlene says

    01/08/2011 at 2:33 PM

Ok Claire- so the coupon is OK. I fixed the box for Stayfree so that should be working. What problems are you having printing? The lists print perfectly for me. With the links inside the list, I will have to ask about that. I would suggest printing your coupons from the master list for the time being.

  17. Charlene says

    01/08/2011 at 2:44 PM

Meryl in the past I listed deals as they appear in the ad. So page 1 of the ad is listed first, followed by page 2, followed by page 3 etc… In this format it is just by category regardless of where it appears in the ad.

  18. Claire says

    01/08/2011 at 2:52 PM

Thanks Charlene – I can now see the check box next to the Stayfree. I also was able to print the list.

When I do pull up the list, the note on the bottom says done with errors. Just to elaborate on the linking errors – take the $5 coupon for clean and clear advantage. The link says http://myfrugaladventures.com/%22http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=zbppeoi6786517&bt=vg&o=61555&c=CC&p=Fw06ZGRj\”

But you actually just need to go to http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp
    ?tqnm=zbppeoi6786517&bt=vg&o=61555&c=CC&p=Fw06ZGRj\

I hope this helps. I know you spend a lot of time on this so I just wanted to let you know. I appreciate all you do! I love your site!

  19. Krista says

Opened my mailbox today and got a $20.00 Gift of Savings Coupon from Rite-Aid. Woo Hoo! I didn’t even spend $100.00. After Coupons, I spent around $58.00 but I turned it in hoping for a $10.00 Gift of Savings but instead got $20.00. So for anyone holding onto your receipts from 11/25 to 12/25 from Rite-Aid be sure to turn them in! Thank you for posting the Rite-Aid deals!!!

Need some advice. I use lots of clean and clear products. How many times can I use the store coupon in one in one purchase. Could someone suggest the best way to purchase just Clean and Clear products and still get $10+up.

    Thanks

Does someone know what zip code for coupons.com the .75/1 hormel completeats coupon is? Or is this coupon gone/out of prints?

  24. Charlene says

    01/08/2011 at 5:04 PM

Em I don’t see it now but I do see a few new coupons since yesterday so maybe it was replaced. There is this one too but not as good of a deal:

    $1/3 Hormel Compleats, exp. 1-10-11 (SS 11/14/10)

  25. Anu says

    01/09/2011 at 12:11 AM

Charlene, how did you work out $3.50 for 5 glade/Palmolive items using (5) $1Qs.

  26. Charlene says

    01/09/2011 at 12:21 AM

    Umm. Dunno 🙂

Palmolive Dish Soap 20oz, Glade Spray or Candles, Scented Oil Refills or Scented Oil Candle Refills $2.50
Use $2/2 Palmolive Dish Liquid, exp. 1-22-11 (SS 01/02/11 #2)
    Use .50/1 Glade Sprays coupon
or Use $1/1 Glade Premium Room Spray, exp. 1-16-11 (RP 12/05/10)
or Use $1/2 Glade Plugins Scented Oil Refill, exp. 2-13-11 (SS 01/09/11 #2)
    {Deal Idea}
Buy 5 assorted Glade Spays or Palmolive at $2.50
Use (5) $1/1 coupons for Glade or $2/2 Palmolive
Final Price: $3.50 for 5 items or .70 each

Ok I see. I made a note that you need to spend $12 and get a $4 +Up but it is hard to see it above the Drano. So $12.50 for 5 items, use (5) $1 coupons and get $4 +Up= $3.50.

Did you have a nice time in India Anu? I assume you are back now and not couponing halfway around the world.

  27. Danielle says

    01/09/2011 at 7:50 AM

FYI, just got back from Rite Aid, and got all my moneymaker Special K – that’s right….$1 Up reward printed for EACH box, and I got 12! 🙂 I also picked up 2 little Christmas tins on clearance, and I’m glad I did. The way my 10% discount worked, it gave me 4.79 off for the BOGO sale, even though I only paid 4.31/box. (He did enter 4.31 for my coupons on the BOGO) so I essentially ended up with unexpected overage! 🙂 So be prepared for a little overage if you have 10% or 20% discount. Yay for Rite Aid!! (Oh, and it counted toward the resolution rewards as well!)

    Hi Charlene,
I was wondering how to go about getting some + ups that I didn’t receive. I was short 4 according to my calculations. Also, I went today and my store (Auburn, CA) didn’t have powerball tabs bogo nor was it in the ad?! I wouldn’t think we’d be different being you are N.Cal too?
I always just go off of your printouts (thank you!) so I didnt’ check ad til I got there.
    Appreciating all you do…
    Jaime

  32. Charlene says

    01/11/2011 at 3:16 PM

Oh Jaime yes you do have to check. The ad is different in CA and different from Nor CA to So CA. I think it is easier for me to do chronological matchups so people can follow where I found the deals for that very reason. CVS is different too. I don’t see the CA ad until Sunday and so there is no way I can wait to do matchups. They take HOURS.

I think you can call customer service but if they are unadvertised +Ups you might be out of luck- like the food ones. Also, there is a limit on +Ups to 26 total per transaction. Did you have a huge shopping trip?

  33. jaime says

    01/11/2011 at 4:17 PM

Ok, lesson learned! I think my missing ups are the unadvertised ones so I probably won’t make a big deal about it. I had a small transaction but never knew about the 26/transaction limit until I read your blog! Thank you.

    Charlene,

Do you know if the $10 +Up when you spend $25 on the beauty products has to be in one transaction??? I spent what I thought was $26.00+, but my 20% discount applied and now it was less than the $25 and it didn’t print my reward. I tried calling customer service, but they are closed. I might make another trip down there to see if I can buy a few more things to make it print, but if it has to be in one transaction, then I’m at a loss. 🙁 Ideas???
