Office Depot has some “free” after Worklife Rewards deals this week. Now keep in mind you will receive your purchase price back in the form of store credit, not an actual rebate check.
Here are the items that qualify:
- UniBall Elite Pens 4pk $9.99
- 3M Permanent File Labels $25.99
- Energizer Batteries 10pk $7.99 (there is a $1/1 in 1/2 SS or 12/12 SS- but you will only get back Rewards for what you actually pay)
- Office Depot Letter and Legal Storage Totes $9.99
- Office Depot File Folders and Hanging Folders $5.99
- Bankers Box Storage Boxes $17.99
You can register for Worklife Rewards for free here. You can buy as many as you want of each item but there is a limit of 2 total items per day from the list above.
Rewards are paid quarterly when you earn a minimum of $10 (so be sure you spend at least $10 on products.)

Do you know if using coupons on the website when purchasing Worklife Reward eligible items (ie: $10 off $50) will affect the final rebate received?
Charlene says
Nicole- do you mean you are ordering online and using a promo code? I don’t know but in general I would just count on getting a refund of what you have paid and not making a profit. If you do get overage that would be a little extra bonus.

Yup, using a promo code online. I wasn’t hoping to make a profit really, just decrease my initial OOP spending. I chatted online with a representative through their website, and he told me it would be totally fine to use the code. I assume I’ll get the rewards minus the $10, which is totally fine.
I also asked for a clarification on the daily maximum, and was informed that you can purchase 2 of EACH item per day. So, if someone wants to reach $50 for the free shipping, it’s acceptable to order, for instance, 2 packs of AA batteries and 2 binders. Don’t know about anyone else, but I was confused by the rule at first!

I just tried posting a response, not sure if it went through though. Sorry if this is a repeat!
Yup, I meant a promo code. I’m not trying to make money really, just trying to reduce my OOP. I chatted online with an Office Depot rep who said it would be fine to use a promo code. I assume I will get a rebate for the total spent minus the $10, which is totally fine by me.
Also, I asked for a clarification on the “2 items max per day” rule, and was told that you can purchase 2 of EACH item per day (the wording’s a little confusing). Anyway, this is helpful to reach the $50 for free shipping.
Thanks a lot for the help!

That is what I thought you were going for and I totally agree to spend the least amount possible just makes more sense. I will have to clarify that point as well- I am probably going to make an Office Depot run this week too.
