I have pulled together several giveaways in honor of a big event around here. It is the second birthday of My Frugal Adventures! It seems like MFA has been part of our lives forever- and as my husband refers to it (affectionately and sometimes not so affectionately) is our third child.
So no birthday is complete without presents of course so I wanted to kick off our little birthday party with an awesome giveaway courtesy of Home Depot!

They are offering big discounts on products for the bathroom as well as in store experts and online tools to help you find the perfect products to complete your project. The sale runs from 1/20-2/23 and features deep discounts on all sorts of items.
As some of you might know, we have been in the midst of never ending home renovation projects. We originally intended to spruce up the kitchen a little. Well we wound up with serious water damage in the kitchen, master bathroom and the kid’s bathroom that resulted in gutting all three rooms. I am very happy to say that our final project (the master bath) just had the shower doors installed today and we have finally finished all three projects! Needless to say, Home Depot has been a second home to us for the past several months!
Now that we have 2 gorgeous new bathrooms it makes our guest bathroom even more of an eyesore. The original owners of our house made very… shall we say taste specific- choices for the house. (Including lots of brass fixtures and oak cabinets!) So our tiny guest bath is truly horrific with laminate wood floors, brass fixtures and gray marble. It is really something else.
We are certainly not in the mood for another full scale renovation, but we decided to see how much we could do on a very small budget.
So here is a little peek at the current state of the guest bath. The room is dark and depressing and is sadly the only bathroom on the main floor of the house. So it needs serious help for sure. I am super excited to start shopping at Home Depot and see what we can do to fix up this bathroom on a tight budget.
We already started looking around last weekend and we found vanities starting at $99!

I would like to buy a new shower door.. We are supposed to have two but one broke and we have made due with one for what seems like forever now lol
I know how you feel Charlene, I’ve been to home depot four times in the last week. we are remodeling our condo. So far we’ve bought paint, and new light switches and sockets for which I just bought a new electric screwdriver today and hopefully will install tomorrow. We’ve still got a long way to go …. wish me luck.

We started our bathroom remodel and then we got flooded in our basement. We need everything from a new toilet, vanity, mirror and shower!

I would love a new tub – it is PINK!! When we moved into our house there was a pink tub, pink sink, and pink toliet – circa 1960. We have replaced the others but have yet to get rid of the tub.

Since we just bought a new house I would need everything and would def spend more than the $100. But to start I’d like a toilet that matches the sink and tub (see I told you more than $100)
I would love to replace the countertop in my bathroom, as I just noticed a crack in it the other day!
I would purchase some rock slab to redo my shower tub and counter because the previous owners didn’t take care of it and there is grout missing in between the tiles in the shower!

Last week my hubby bought our new vanity during Home Depot’s 30% off FB offer. Now we just need some new tile… so here’s tothat $100 gift card! 🙂
We are in desperate need of closet help in our bathroom! Our closets are too small and we need to get them professional remodeled to maximize space! Help please!!!
Well, I would tear down the bathroom and buy everything brand new. =) The shower is tiled with a really ugly color tile, and the bath tub itself is so old it just needs to be replaced. I’d rip that all out! Then, the vanity and the mirror on the wall would go. I’d be so happy to go vanity shopping.. I’ve seen some nice ones! Then, I’d rip off the cabinet hanging above the toilet and replace it with one of those multiple shelve/cabinet systems.
