Coastal Contacts is offering yet another giveaway of eyeglasses tomorrow on Facebook.
This is a very cool promotion and I have heard really positive things so far.
You just have to like Coastal Contacts on Facebook and get your eyeglasses prescription ready. Then tomorrow head back over at 9am PST (12pm EST) and click on the “Get the Code” tab.
Then enter the code in and you will get a pair of eyeglasses of your choice totally free! They suggest selecting 3 or 4 frames in advance so you are ready to move when the giveaway begins.
If you have already won glasses from Coastal Contacts, you are not eligible for this promotion. You will need to pay shipping charges which are very reasonable. I think the last time around I heard from you guys that you picked out glasses valued around $100 and paid about $12 total for the shipping. So a great deal!

How do we know which glasses are eligible?
I absolutely loved this promotion last time! I actually won some, and when they came, they were too small. However, customer service was amazing! They paid for return shipping, and refunding my original shipping. They only charged me shipping on the new glasses, and helped me pick some out that would be a better size. They said they’d ship out the new ones, once my original ones had been returned, but I actually got the new ones the day before I shipped the originals out! They’re actually way better quality than the ones I got at Hour Eyes.
Warning though, it can be frustrating when picking out your glasses and trying to do the promotion because of how many people are trying to get them, so patience is needed!

When I did it last time all glasses were eligible. I had an issue with my frames being to small so I have been looking for replacement frames and have noticed some that say no coupons allowed. I would try to stay away from those, but otherwise any.
It did take me a little bit of time. My advice….. print the PD measureing thing and measure your pupil distance in advance. Almost all glasses need this number and often it is not included on your prescription.
I haven’t been able to wear my glasses yet. I am having to return them because they do not fit my face but the customer service has been great!

Yay! Got one! Someone said before that it was available 10 minutes before the actual time. So I tried at 8:45 pst and it worked like a charm. Can’t wait – I’ve been wearing glasses my kids bent. Had to pay shipping $9.95 and $4.xx for handling and insurance though.
paid a little over $18.00 for mine- so excited to have a backup pair- last time i spent over 300$ and had to rush them since my eyes dont take to contacts at all. I didnt get to even start my order till 11:30 EST and surprised i got in- so i think there is still availability!

While I think this promotion is great (it’s been around like 3 times already) is is consistently during the week during the day while a good majority of people are working – including myself, so I am unable to take advantage of this offer unless I can persuade my mother to do it for me. It would have been really smart and cool if they had done the giveaways at different times and days. But, kudos to those who are able to participate.
Thanks so much Charlene! I just so happened to stumble across my prescription last week so I knew right where it was. And I called America’s Best and they gave me my PD info so I didn’t have to fool with trying to measure. My total was $16.07 for some cute BabyPhat glasses. (The Christian Dior glasses I wanted weren’t eligible). I will send you a pic once I get them. You’re the BEST!
