Today Only: Free Tide at 4pm and Cheap Wii at 9pm

Today at 4pm EST, Tide will be giving away samples of the new washing machine cleaner on Facebook.  They only have 5,000 available so expect them to be gone very quickly!

Tonight at 9pm in stores only at Walmart– they will be giving away Wii Consoles for $199 with a $75 gift card back.

That is the best offer yet for these games but you can expect crowds and Walmart does not say how many they have available per store.  I remember they did an awesome sale on Wii last year in the morning and there were some stores that had 5 units only.  I would recommend calling ahead to your store if you are interested just to check inventory and get there early!  There is a small chance they will offer them online too.  The ad clearly says in store only so I would absolutely not count on that.

*Amazon seems to like to price match competitors especially Walmart.  If you don’t feel like going to Walmart you might have a look on Amazon tonight and see if they offer a flash sale too.

Thanks Living Rich with Coupons!

It specifies on Walmart website that offer is only valid in-store.

Yes that is what I said. I seem to remember last year they had something like this and they wound up offering it online but they were gone in minutes. So there is a chance but as I said in the post I would absolutely not count on that.

I heard that Wal-Mart will let you price match and Target is offering the same Wii for $177, which could make this deal even sweeter.

    Tide samples are out 🙁

    Mollie, I have never heard of Target price matching a gift card offer. You can certainly call but I would be very surprised. You can see the price match policy here;

    http://sites.target.com/site/en/company/page.jsp?contentId=WCMP04-040400

    It excludes timed events:

“Timed events (e.g., early bird, door busters)” and “Coupon-required or giftcard offers”

I think what Mollie was saying is that Wal-Mart MIGHT match the Target price of $177 PLUS the Wal-Mart gift card on top of that. It’s a long shot, but I’ve heard of some crazy price matching/deal combos before around this time of the year.

Ooohh. I see now 🙂 Yes massive long shot.

    Charlene,
Looks like they are offering the Wii on Amazon as a lightning sale plus $75 credit to amazon. No shipping with prime and no tax. Pretty awesome!

Amazon just ran that same Wii special as a lightning deal. Looks like the waiting list is still open though!

Amazon just had a lightning deal for the red wii bundle. $199 plus a $75 credit to Amazon. It works out better for me than Wal-Mart because I don’t have to go to the store or pay sales tax!

I called Walmart on Pleasant Grove in Roseville (electronics dept.) and they said they don’t have a limit it’s how many Wii’s they have left in stock will have the deal. They said you can even come early and get one, but you won’t be able to check out and get the deal till 9p.

My mom also price matched this offer at Walmart last week when they were offering it with a $50 gift card. She brought the Target ad in this week and they gave her the different back.

Awesome- sounds like a great deal for you! I am sure not all Walmart stores are as generous and I know I had a lot of very angry people last year with this exact same promotion. As always with Walmart, the experience will be radically different for each person.
