Target Clearance Update!

Just a reminder about the awesome deals you can find in January at Target stores.

The toy clearance should have started already at most stores- mine is still at 50% off and they usually go to 75% off about the middle of January.  Every store will be a little different but you should be able to just call and ask what the current discount is at for your store.

I like to keep an eye on the toy clearance and I usually buy a few things for birthday gifts throughout the year.  I usually get a few inexpensive little toys for sick days or for travelling as well to keep the littles entertained.

I have a box in the closet with everything and I keep this worksheet on the front so I remember what I purchase.

**

The holiday clearance should be hitting 75% in most stores by now.  I called this morning and my store was still at 50% off- but remember holiday clearance will include all sorts of things.  Some of my favorite things to look for are holiday packaged Ziplocs, hand soap, Kleenex etc… they are typically marked way down because of the seasonal packaging.  You should find some amazing deals on fragrances and candles and things as well.

**

I found these little Neutrogena packs priced at $2.50 on clearance.
You might keep an eye out because there is a $2/1 printable coupon
or $3/1 Neutrogena Cosmetics, exp. 2-1-11 (ALL YOU Nov ’10 or Dec ‘10)
So they will be free-.50 each!

I also like to keep an eye on the Gerber 2pks of blanket sleepers.  My store has them on clearance for $6.98 right now- that is actually a great price ($3.50 per jammie).

There is a $5/25 Gerber Clothing coupon available, so if you find the same deal try this:

Buy 4 at $6.98
use $5/25 coupon
Pay $22.92 for 4 packs or $2.87 per pj

What great deals have you spotted at Target lately?  I have to head over (hopefully) this afternoon to get the great deal on lunchmeat.

I just did the Neutrogena deal (my store was clearance for $3.50 from $5) and the $3 coupon only scanned for $2.50 off, so be careful! 🙂

I saw quite a few baby things on clearance today. We were going to wait to buy a crib for our baby boy that we are expecting in March until after we moved this summer but I found a Graco one on sale today from $160 down to $111 so I couldn’t resist!

Thanks for the tip about the closet..I never thought to do that- this year I am gonna have to try it! (rather than digging through toys for birthdays)

Ugh. Went to my “local” target and the sales stunk. Still at 30%…holiday candles at 15% off. Will be returning a few things after noticing (after loading my babies in the car) that not only were a few items higher priced then what they were supposed to be…but my dang coupons were not reflected. grr.

They had perfume marked down. I got the britney spears fantasy marked down to 20.98 and used the $5 Target coupon from awhile back…so got that for $15.98…thought that was a good price!

Another deal that I spotted was the Up and Up pantiliners are normally .89 I used the .75 cents target coupon and after I paid another .75 target coupon printed out. I was able to roll this coupon 4 times without a problem. Woo Hoo for .13 cents pantiliners! I love donating these to younger sisters and women shelters 🙂
