I would like to wish everyone out there a wonderful Thanksgiving! I am extra thankful for all the readers that come and hang out with me and make this little adventure possible.
This site started as a little side hobby and over the last two years has turned into something that I truly love doing -most of the time 😉 – and I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you that stop by, leave comments, send emails and share a few minutes of your day with me.
As some of you know, we are renovating our kitchen this year. What was a small project to fix water damage from a pipe burst turned into full scale renovations. What was supposed to be 6 days of drying out the water damage turned into 16.
And the cabinets that were supposed to be installed tomorrow have been delayed a week due to poor weather for the truckers. But I have to say we are still in good spirits and hopefully we will have a beautiful new kitchen in time for Christmas!
In the meantime, we have everything we need for a great dinner courtesy of the Safeway Deli department and I get to spend the day hunting down deals rather than cooking!
Have a wonderful holiday with your families and be sure to hit up the Swagbucks blog for a 9 buck code before 6pm PST today!
*Be sure you don’t have any extra spaces when you cut and paste this into the Gimme box on the Swagbucks home page. If you are new to Swagbucks, learn more here.

From someone who has been through a kitchen remodel – I knew it was going to take far longer then expected! I don’t know what it is about projects, but they never go as expected…. but in the end you will have a beautiful kitchen you love, because you got to pick it all out! I don’t know how you do it all … keep this blog going all day long AND deal with things like remodels and two little ones! Kudos to you and have a Happy Turkey Day!!!

I would be interested in seeing pics of your new kitchen when it’s complete. A do & don’t do list would be nice also. Or any advise. I want to take the plunge but it’s overwhelming to me.
I enjoy your blog!!
