Reader Shelly sent a current list of the magazines you can find the $5 off Hallmart coupon in this month:
- Nov/Dec MidWest Living Page 17 (sticky/peel off coupon)
- Dec. Real Simple (between pages 74-74)
- Dec. Family Circle (page 61)
- Dec. Southern Living
- Dec. Martha Stewart Living (page 93)
- Dec. Redbook (pages 53-54)
I did get both Midwest Living and Martha Stewart and found my coupons inside. I also got Redbook and I think someone stole my coupon because it is missing.
I went to Hallmart today to use one and found Beanie babies priced at $6.99- so $1.99 after coupon.
They also have the hot wrapping paper sale again this year. Big rolls of premium paper are $4.99- get a second roll for $.99. So you pay $1 for 2 nice rolls after coupon!
Thanks Shelly and Deanna!

Just wondering… can these be used somewhere where Hallmark cards are sold or just in a Hallmark store?

I found this on another blog (sorry cannot remember where I read it), but here is the list of mags that supposedly have the $5 coupon (Dec issues):
Better Homes & Garden, Country Living, Martha Stewart Living, Real Simple, Southern Living, Taste of Home, Women’s Day and Parents
Deanna Adkins says
I found one in the Dec. Issue of Family Circle Page 61.

Last year I got stocked up on Christmas wrapping paper with these coupons- so this year I am getting birthday and other occasion paper- they are on sale for the same price 2 for $5.99. I also found that they have the character silly bandz on sale B1G1 free at $5.99. In the past I have refused to pay any money for these for my little boy, but if I can get 2 packs for only .99 after the coupon- these would make a nice little stocking stuffer!

This coupon also was in the Dec issue of Family Circle that I received yesterday.

I think possibly that Redbook is an error, because I get it as well and there is no advertisement for Hallmark or a card in it. I did get it in my Family Circle though as well.
Charlene says
Michelle- someone emailed that to me from another blog too so I am wondering if there is a difference in the newsstand and the subscriber issues?
Rose says
Michelle. are you sure it was the december issue?
I just recieved the November issue of Redbook like two day ago.
Chantel says
I found some cute Christmas socks for $2.50 each. I bought 2 and didn’t pay anything!
Charlene says
Rose that is a great catch. Now I got this yesterday in the mail and it has Lauren Graham on the cover and it is OCTOBER! They are a teensy behind maybe in shipping.
Charlene says
Melissa it is for Hallmark stores. Also you are supposed to have a Gold Card. I have one but have never given it to them.
Sunny says
I got mine in my December Redbook that just arrived yesterday.

Almost all of my subscriptions have been behind. I got August issues in September, Sept in Oct, etc. You can’t use expired Amazon coupons! =) I got lucky the last couple of issues and found that the coupons didn’t expire until 12/31
Joy says
I just got my December issue of Redbook in mail. It has Christina Aguilera on the cover and the Hallmark coupon was in it.

Last year my Hallmark wouldn’t let me use the coupon on anything in the store. I tried to buy a beenie baby and they said it was only for Hallmark items, such as cards. I don’t know if they were making up their own rules or not, they were pretty snotty as soon as they saw the coupon. Hopefully my luck is better this year! ๐
Malisa says
I just went to a Hallmark in our area and they would not let me use the coupon on the wrapping paper deal. They said it was because the coupon cannot be combined with other offers. So I ended up buying 3 rolls for 7.50ish and used the coupon towards the 3rd roll regularly priced at $4.99. Maybe it was just my store…
Charlene says
Hmm. I think they make up their own minds on what they feel like. I used 5 or so of them last year on all sorts of stuff and I just bought a beanie baby. I also have a zillion comments from last year and they were all pretty positive. I think maybe you just got unlucky with your stores- I am sure there will be more and usually I hear from the people that are unlucky not the ones that are lucky ๐
Charlene says
Ohh PS. There is supposed to be a super tiny mention of MFA in the Family Circle for December ๐ I am looking forward to getting that one.
Misty says
It is in the December Redbook. Got mine in the mail yesterday and it was there! Yay!
Katie says
Charlene! that’s so exciting! Congrats!
Jennifer says
Does anyone know if any of these magazines are in stores yet?
Janel says
Just used both of my coupons ( Family Circle and Real Simple) took advantage of the wrapping paper buy one for $4.99, get one for .99. I used both coupons and got 4 rolls of nice wrapping paper for $2.12. On a side note to Malisa- my store was not sure if I could use it on the wrapping paper at first- but on the back of the coupon it clearly states it can be used with other store promotions and sale items- they happily honored it and I got my deal. Sorry to hear you didn’t have such luck with your store.
Jennifer says
Does anyone know how long the wrapping papers sale goes one for?
Kristen says
I just looked on the website and I think the wrapping paper deal runs through 12/24.
Danielle says
@Malisa…FYI, the $5/5 printable coupon states: “May be combined with other offers.” Sorry they gave you a hard time!? Hallmark stores are independently owned, so it probably depends on the owner. I am hoping my store doesn’t give me a tough time? ๐

There is also one in the December Food Network magazine.
