Buy.com has a 3G WiFi Nook Reader today for $99. Before you get too excited this is a refurbished unit. I don’t typically post refurb items but a lot of you have asked for deals on e-readers and they just don’t seem to be discounting these at all this year.

I buy refurbished items when it’s hard to get a good deal on some electronics (from the original manufacturer) and have had no issues. They all come guaranteed with a warranty and you can extend it for comfort if it makes you feel better about it. Lets face it, even $99 is expensive so the product better be “good as new.” But what a deal you can get if you are willing to buy refurbished. I got my GPS a few years ago refurbished and it works as good as new still today.
