VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Target has changed the registers and they are not crediting coupons for the full value.  This seems to be on coupons that are for multiple items (like a $1/2 coupon).  The coupon is being adjusted down to the item’s value- not the coupon value.  So if you buy (2) items at $.75 and use a $1/2 coupon- the coupon is being adjusted down to .75!  So you need to watch carefully and make sure your coupons are credited properly or go to customer service and get a refund.

You can read more about this here.

Any great deals you spotted this week?  We’d love to hear about them!

This happened to me last night. I used the $5/5 Kraft items and it scanned for $0!! I have never had a problem at Target, so I rarely even check my receipts. But, my cashier was less than friendly and not looking at her register or screen as she scanned, so I double checked before walking out of the store. CS rang it up as a “missed coupon” and gave me back $5.

I also had to make a trip to CS to get my $5. On 1 receipt with 12 items I was overcharged on 3 items. Even when you repeatedly tell them at CS that an item is ringing up incorrectly no change is ever made in the computer. Kashi cereal was supposedly on sale at my store for $2.75 and it rang us as $3.19 for 2 weeks. I made many trips to CS. Double check every single receipt you get from Target.

I was in Target yesterday and the cashier said that now they have to ring up the coupon with the item, so you have to give them your coupons as you go instead of doing them all at the end. It seems like this way will take a lot longer and be sort of cumbersome, but I guess it’s also a good way to make sure your coupons are coming off right. Has anyone else had this happen?

It had happen to me too. They just want to make sure that we can only get free stuffs but not paying us back. I don’t like to shop at target like I used to.

The Butterfinger deal would be $1.89 each after coupon, not $1.39 …

I had the exact same experience as Jessica

I went to do the Scrubbing Bubbles deal today and the Target coupon for the $5 gift card expired yesterday (10/10)…so the deal is not as good any more.
