I noticed in my Big Lots ad this week, they have Campbell’s Select Harvest soups on sale for $1 a can. If you also received this ad, you can take it in to Walmart or Target and ask for a price match.
There is a $1/2 printable coupon for Select Harvest soups- that would make them .50 each after coupon and price match. The soup on sale at Big Lots is the Garden Recipes varieties and the coupon is for any Select Harvest or Select Harvest Healthy Request soups so it should work fine!
*NOTE: You can not use coupons at Big Lots so price matching at Target or Walmart works out to a better deal. You will need the actual ad from Big Lots to take in with you.

I was recently at Target, and was told after the cashier adjusted the price to match another place’s sale item, that they didn’t accept price matches. The manager somehow noticed she did this, and made her change it back to the old price. I then told them I didn’t want it, and that I was sure they did do price matching, but they told me no, they won’t do that.

Sarah, The price matching policy is linked at the top of each weekly Target list that I post. It can be found here: http://sites.target.com/site/en/company/page.jsp?contentId=WCMP04-040400.
Your store is mistaken so you might take that printout with you next time. You can also call customer service from the store and they will correct them for you 🙂

My employer is giving out $1 off 1 can of Campbell’s Select Harvest, will this still work? Can I get this for free?
Charlene says
Keesha, According to their policy you should be able to for sure. The way you are supposed to do it, is pay full price (which was $1.52 at my store) give your coupon and walk over to customer service for a refund of .52. I usually skip that and just do it all at customer service. If you have a snarly store, I would print that price matching policy. If you have a friendly store, I bet it goes perfectly fine for you!
