I got a weekly ad for Harbor Freight Tools in my mailbox today. The front cover has a coupon for a free flashlight $7.99 in value. Amazingly, the coupon is valid until 11/28 and it says no purchase is required. It is one per customer and it does say while supplies last.
You might look through your Sunday paper or in your mailbox for this ad and see if you get lucky too.

They have been running these coupons in various places for a while now. I have gotten about 8 of them so far. And it truly is free, no purchase required. You just present the coupon to the cashier and they give you the flashlight. They’re very nice, and even come with batteries! :^)

They always have these ads in the local paper, mailers, and even in the SS and Red Plum inserts. I collect them all and stick them in my husband’s wallet. Every time he goes to that part of town, he stops in and gets a flashlight. We now have these little flashlights all over the house, in the cars, even at work. All for free! Just the other day, I saw a new one for free scissors, kind of like kitchen shears. Looks like we’ll get stocking up on them too!

These coupons are available almost every week in the Sunday paper in either the SmartSource insert or the Red Plum and sometimes there is an additional one in the Parade or USA Today magazine. The free item is usually a flashlight, but can be all purpose scissors or a electrical tester. DO NOT look around the store for the flashlights — they keep the free ones at the cash register.

Well Scott why have you been holding out on me? I don’t recall seeing these for awhile- I know they did them before. I guess I need to pay more attention 🙂

I’ve been collecting these too. It’s great when you have a little one because you don’t have to watch them like a hawk to turn off the flashlight when they’re done (since the battery was free).
I also think these would be great for upcoming Halloween trick-or-treating!

I always over look these ads too. Thanks Charlene for pointing it out now I have another little nick knack to throw in my hubby’s stocking.(He’s been very good this year) LOL :]

You don’t even have to have the coupon, just say you forgot it and they will still give you one.

I’ve been to Harbor Freights 3 times already in Roseville, but they keep saying they are out and I have to come back. It’s not worth the drive.

Not only is it a free battery, but if your kids are like mine, they’ve beaten the thing to oblivion before the battery runs out. We’ve gone through about 10 flashlights and still have 10 or so coupons waiting for future use!
