I bought 3 packs of the BE frozen veggies which are on sale this week for 1.25 with In Ad Q and even though I did not buy the Mrs.Pauls entree, the 2$ eQ came off twice, which was a pleasant surprise.
The Honey Nut Cheerios are advertised as 1.99, but the price is actually 1.50 in my store. If you buy 2 and have 1$ off 2 MQ and 2 eQ for .55 each, the price comes to 45c per box.
I also did the deal on buy 2 iTunes GC and get 5$ off, which was advertised in very small print under the P&G ad and I received the 5$ cat.
The ballpark hotdog buns were 1.99, but they would not take the 2$ FB Q. The register complained and I had them remove it, since I did not want to pay for it. Just a heads up.
Safeway is advertising free 20ct bakery cookes wyb 4pk Starbucks frappucino’s. Using $1/1 mfq w/the weekend sale, pay 2.99 for both a 4pk and cookies!

I checked your blog before I left and was able to get a 12-roll pack of Bounty and a 60-count Cascade Action Pacs for $13.50 total! Great buy! Thanks for the tip Charlene. I was in desperate need of toilet paper, so I did the Charmin and Bounty deal. But, for some reason the e-coupon for $3 didn’t come off my purchase for the Charmin so I called P&G and they were very helpful. If anyone else is doing or has done this deal check your receipt carefully!

I don’t ever enter a zip code so I don’t know what is wrong. If you have registered and logged in than you might contact P&G to see what is wrong. You should have at least 20 coupons to pick from.
Ok, I figured it out. I was registered but for some reason it hadn’t registered by Safeway Club Card. When I did that (for the 3rd time) the coupons came up. Yea, tomorrow I’m off to try that Charmin/Bounty deal! Thanks!!!
With so many of my eQs doubling, on the same item (until Sept 6th) and having Safeway Qs or MQs on almost everything I bought, I was able to purchase 23 items today for $19.95. They are as follows:

I was going to make a quick run to safeway for a couple of the P&G products on sale this week but on the bottom of the ad it says shopcart must add up to $6 more than the total price of participating items. Hmm…has anyone had a problem with this? I don’t want to just buy some extra crap that I don’t need just so I can get the deal.

Yesterday evening I purchased the following items.
Bounty Big Roll Paper Towel 12 pack @ $12.99
Charmin Utlra Soft Big Roll Bath Tissue 60 rolls @ $6.99
Downy Fabric Softener 102 oz. $10.49
P & G Esaver coupons deducted:
$3.00 off for Bounty
$2.00 off for Downy
$0 for the Charmin Ultra Soft
Vons “Save $6 instantly” discount was not deducted at all. What should I do? Are you only able to purchase two items at a time to get the “Save $6 instantly” discount? All my items were tags at my store. Thank you.
I think the save $6 did come off because wasn’t that TP $12.99 before discount? Did you buy 3 items or 4? With these promotions you have to be very careful because it isn’t “Buy 2 or More and get them for $6.99” it is Buy 2 and Get them for $6.99. So if you bought 3, the 3rd item will ring up at full price. Personally I like to just buy in separate transactions if I am doing a deal like that. Sometimes you can buy in multiples and it works fine- like if you bought 4 items- but sometimes it is just up to a specific number.
So just to be sure my deal works and I can avoid all hassle I like to keep it easy on myself.
Since the deal has ended you probably can just take one of your items back and ask for a refund. They might just give you the difference in cash if you explain what happened- it will depend on your store. I don’t think the store made a mistake unless that TP wasn’t $12.99 before the discount.

This doesn’t look correct to me. The Bounty should be $9.99 not $12.99 and the Downy should be $7.99 not $10.49 after the “Save $6 instantly” offer. I don’t why the Charmin is $6.99.
Right no I understand I just don’t see why Charmin would be $6.99 for 60 rolls. That seems like a really low price to me. The 24 pack I posted with the details of this promotion and it was $12.99 so a 60 pk you would think would be more. My thought is that the instant $6 was deducted off the TP only which makes your receipt confusing. It might have actually been $3 per item because your TP was reduced by $9.
Was it marked at $6.99 before the promotional discount on the tags?
The Charmin package is marked:
24 packs=48 rolls (Crossed off with red slash and below is)
30 packs=60 rolls (6 free)
These were at the end cap of the aisle and I don’t remeber what it was marked. I assumed they were inlcuded in the sale since the package was marked 24 packs=48 rolls. Should I go to the store and explain what happened or just forget it?
