The Valet is  a new wireless router made just for people who are intimated by the traditional router. For those of us who may not be super tech savvy, this router has made it easy. You simply plug in a USB key and it does all the work for you.  Not only is it a reliable, solid router – it offers built in parental controls.

As a Mom of 2 little girls (who will be on the Internet sooner than I would like to think), the Internet security feature of the The Valet, is one I welcome.  I cannot imagine being worried about what websites my girls might visit or how long they will try to stay online at night. If you have a teenager, this is a great way to control the Internet usage, without putting software on the computer.

The Valet is made by the company who brought us the Flip video camcorders and it comes from  Cisco, a router brand that people know and trust. Along with its super easy setup, the Valet creates a guest network to go along with your main network. This gives your friends and family the ability to connect to the guest network – without disrupting your network.

    OH, to be able to print wirelessly (is that a word?) anyway…& have the kids on their game system at the same time as I am online…oh the possibilities!!! Fabulous prize!!!!!

    I like the parental controls on the Valet. Would be a great addition to our house as our 7 year old is constantly on the computer, and unfortunately, I am NOT tech savvy whatsoever! 🙁

    The Valet sounds too easy. I was thinking of getting one for my parents. I was going to send them a wireless router for Christmas but thought of trying to explained how to set has deterred me. The Valet seems very easy use, that even my mom can do it!! Would love to win it! Thanks for all the useful tips and information you provide on your website:)

    I loved it’s guest network feature, I don’t know much about it and it’s only Cisco who could have come up with it.

    I think the best feature for me would be that it is user friendly. This will enhance my marriage because my technie/computer lovin husband will be able to explain it to me in 40 words or less

    My favorite feature is the parental controls. My daugther is 5 and uses the computer for playing games at nickjr.com & pbskids.com. I’d like to limit her access to just those sites!
