Are you ready to fill those cupboards with some healthier options for lunches this year?
Well Kind Bars have generously offered one My Frugal Adventures reader $100 in Kind Bars! If you aren’t familiar with the bars, they are a much healthier alternative to other snack bars.
They are packed with ingredients you can actually pronounce like dried fruit and nuts. These are dense bars so they will definitely fill you up without all the junk you normally find in snack foods.
They offer amazing flavors like: Almond and Apricot, Cranberry Almond, Nut Delight and more!
And on August 14th Kind will be participating in the Great Kindness Challenge. They are encouraging people to participate in as many random acts of kindness as possible that day. They are hoping to have over one million children worldwide participate in this event. You can read more about the Kindness Challenge right over here– and remember you can be kind to yourself as well as others! Personally I plan to actually go to bed early that night. I can’t think of anything nicer to do for myself. (Well maybe a new car- but a good night’s sleep is up there.)
So are you ready to get a giant box of these yummy bars for yourself?
This giveaway will run through Saturday 14th at noon PST. Please be sure to leave a comment by clicking on comments in the lower right corner. (If you are viewing in a reader or on facebook please click through to the blog to comment). No entries via email, Facebook or Twitter will be considered.

We love Kind bars. We make random acts of kindness the norm in our household. We volunteer outside of the home, we donate to charity, and we are also teaching our son to do the same.
Have a great day!

I will donate school supplies for the school I taught at for 34 and a half years.
I love the list for the acts of kindness. Smiling, saying good morning, giving a compliment – something so simple – costs nothing but a few seconds and means so much. I like to do something like anonymously leaving a container of brownies in the break room, leaving a piece of great chocolate on someone’s desk. Sending a quick e-mail to just say thanks for putting up with me and for giving me help and support when I’ve needed it. Just saying – you are appreciated.
i would donate some of my clothing

I plan on surprising our Aunt for a visit. We told her we had other commitments that day, but little does she know that we plan on joining her afternoon picnic!
There was a less fortunate family from our church that is pregnant, and a few of my buddies and I got together and put together an entire nursery as a surprise!
We would volunteer at a local animal shelter

I bring food to the homeless every friday. Often it’s leftovers from work, or a bunch of hamburgers from McDonalds. It’d be nice to share my kindbars with them if I win 🙂
I will keep my 11 month old great grandson for the night to give the “kids” a break and a long date night.

I’ve been practicing all week by referring job postings to friends in need. I just got a new job myself after a period of unemployment and know that acts of kindness no matter what they are go a long way to lifting spirits!
thank you so much for entering me. YUM! My kindness act would be patient, loving and understanding always with my husband and kids. Boy, is that hard, but I’m trying. Thanks, Cat
That’s a really cool list! What a great idea! I think I’d like to “write a happy message with sidewalk chalk” along with happy faces and hearts, like others on the list stated. This is something I can do with my family as we talk about the list and other opportunities for kindness.
