Holy cow! I only had a few minutes to run into Target and there was so much clearance I couldn’t believe it. Not only did my store leap from 30% yesterday to 75% clearance today on toys but they also had mountains and mountains of shoes on clearance. A fabulous reader tipped me off that kids shoes were marked down to $3.24 and sure enough I found an entire wall of them! They had flip flops for the family for $1.25 and the C9 sneakers for little ones for $4.98. Not great quality shoes but they would be perfect for muddy adventures to the park this fall.
I also found a lot of clearance on the children’s furnishings area (bedding etc..) and clothing for the family. They also had tons of board games on clearance- including Monopoly Championship Edition for $3.48.
Here is my score:
World Cup Soccer Ball $2.48
World Cup Cap $2.48
Thomas the Train $4.24
WordWorld VTech Book $2.48 (they had Bakugan Tag books for $3.48)
Bounce Around Trampoline $8.24
MLB T-Shirt for kids $2.98
and then I went to Old Navy and scored the $2 tanks! I forgot to print the coupon and it worked just fine for me. PLUS these are not advertised in the store- so I found a whole table in the back with plenty to choose from. They are marked at $5 in the store.
I can’t wait to hear what you guys found! I also spotted the Leapster Didj marked down to $19.99 at my store!
***Remember not all Target stores have the same clearance schedule. If you have not been by TODAY you might want to call and see what the clearance markdown is at. A lot of stores seem to be marking things down today.

THANKS for the tip! I went first things this morning and they were marking down while I was there! I bought an entire cart full of toys…mostly for Christmas and Birthdays. My Little Pony playsets were marked down to $2.54, Tag Readers were marked down to $8.00, the Fisher Price fun to Learn Computer Keyboard System was down to $12.00 from $54.0O, lots of RC cars, they had Air Hog RC planes marked down to $12.00 from $55.00! It was crazy! THANKS so much for letting us know!

Did you get your slip-n-slide? I saw some in the 75% off aisle. We had a great trip. My daughter was able to get a polly pocket set, mermaid doll, my little pony set and mymeba toy all with her $5. Great sale, thanks for the reminder!

I went to Old Navy and got the tank tops today too! I also was in Target, but the toys were really picked over. Sad now that I bypassed the shoes!
Melinda says
The Target I visited had the signs still up for 30% off but all of the tags on the actual items were for 75% off so make sure you double check.

I was distrubed @ target today-I used up the last of my buy 2 get one free coupon and then buy 2 get a dollar offer. for whatever reason the latter didn’t work. I figured since I had bought 2 a $1 would come off of the other 2, and then the screen said it didn’t work. the girl finished ringing me w/o looking at the screen. I did use the one for the chocolate-.29=yum!
Also Febreeze duals are 7.55 which I think is not bad. Its like getting one free. I have a feeling they are much more $$$.
Lastly on Oct. 17th, my location(Morgan Hill) will be turned into a grocery, so that is awesome! I’m not sure if the prices will go up or down but it will be a great relief since the two major grocery chains are not cheap!

I picked up the Monopoly game today and also found tubes of play-doh with 10 of the small canisters in them for $1.21. These are great for my daughter because she always ends up leaving it out and it dries up so I don’t feel bad giving her more when I find it this cheap! I also saw a lot of baby things on sale. They had a pack and play set marked down from $150 to $75 and booster seats marked down from $20 to $9

I was at Target, but forgot to check out the toys and I had my kiddo with me anyways. Our Target is in the process of turning into what they’re called a Target FG, if I’m not mistaken. (FG = Fresh Grocery) It should be done by September 12th. I’m excited, but it has been very difficult to shop there the past few weeks because things are all over the place. For example, the juice is on 3 different aisles one of which is about 10 aisles from the other two over by the electronics. (go figure) They only have 3 cold cases, 1 frozen and two cold when we had about 15 before the remodel. The odd thing is the rest are in the back holding food that will eventually make its way out to the front when the other stuff sells out. I just can’t wait until they’re finished.
karen says
yes i have heard good things, do you have the inside scoop if it will be cheaper than safeway? I know wal-mart has a similar set up but I am not keen on the options. It may be cheaper but I think the quality isn’t as good! I am hoping for a full service deli. but I don’t quite know how they are going to pull it off with the space they have…

So, we just got back from our Target trip & I scored (we are in the Bay area)! The toys were a bit picked over, but I still got some good stuff for Christmas and birthdays! I got $140 worth of toys for $35!!! I had purchased a Barbie Glam Pool on Monday for my niece for $9 – today’s price $3.22! I might have to go back later and find another one and return the original (plus I can check out the shoes)…
Here arethe rest of my deals:
My Little Pony sets – $2.72 each (I got 3!)
Barbie Mermaid Bath Toy – $5.74
Iron Man Walkie Talkies – $3.24
NiHao KaiLan MegaBlock $4.98 & 2.48
Fisher Price Trio Blocks – $1.98 ea

Well I know from when I post the weekly ads they often have better prices on produce and yogurt for sure. I have seen great deals on proteins and bread too- especially when they have coupons on top of it. I am just glad to see more competition honestly. I am tired of only having Sfwy and Raley’s here and I am very ready for them to have to start earning our business 😀

At your suggestion I went to Target today, Charlene, and WOW! I bought My Little Pony, Polly Pocket, Nerf, and Matchbox for Christmas and birthdays for my kids, nephews, niece and friends plus a few just to have on hand, all at 75% off! My favorite was three Star Wars blasters, normally $40 each, for $10 each. Then I came home and submitted the Star Wars free gift rebate, and I’ll have another fantastic gift! I’m going to give these to my son and two nephews next Christmas and watch them running around my in-laws house “blasting” eachother for days! Thanks, Charlene – I never would have known to go today if it wasn’t for you!

really love hearing all the great toy deals from everyone. i won’t be able to head out to target until this weekend, but i am really excited and happy that everyone has been able to get so much stuff at such great prices. i’ve already snatched up a bunch of stuff for my kids by using my swagbucks on amazon. i love telling my husband that i get things for free or super cheap. he doesn’t really get all excited about it so that’s why i love reading blogs like this one!!

I got an eddie bauer wooden high chair for $28!!! Also got some shoes super cheap too! Love, love target!

My Target is a Super Target and I love it!! I forgot all about the clearance today hopefully there will be stuff for me tomarrow. I think the prices are a little higher than walmart or other grocery stores but the mark downs are awesome plus You can stack and Target does have great grocery coupons from time to time.

I think I might have to go BACK to Target tonight! I was there two days ago and scored on some shoes. But I need to check out the toys!
Old Navy I got my Camis PLUS I printed up a $10/$50 coupon from FB and picked up a few other really cute tops. 10 tops $47… not too bad.
Danielle says
Did anyone else get home from their Target trip to find the catalog with coupons in their mailbox? :/ I scored some great deals on toys (Pixos sets, MLP’s, etc.) but has also picked up some back to school stuff, and the coupons in the booklet in the mail were all almost identical to the online ones right now…could have save some ink! Oh well…I’ll just HAVE to go back! 😉 hehe!
myndi orr says
Maybe I missed something, but my store was clearanced at only 30% in the toy section. Was there a separate place to look for the markdowns? I only had a few minutes in the store…
Dee says
I didn’t get to Target, but I got my camis at Old Navy. The girl at the checkout said no one seemed to know about it. The table was full of all sizes and colors. 5 camis for 10 bucks. Thanks, Crystal. Would not have known about it except for MFA.
