The winner was Kari.
I have to tell you right off the bat that this is in no way an unbiased review. I worked at the Good Earth restaurants when I was 17 and it always brings back such lovely memories, I am very partial to their products. Especially the tea which is my favorite.
Anyway, I was very happy to check out the new restaurant favorites meal kits which should be hitting supermarket shelves in the next few weeks. The kit we received was Mediterranean chicken and included whole grain pasta, creamy sauce, seasoning, and you just add the chicken.
I was thinking this would be dry and taste cardboardy for some reason and we were surprised that is was actually pretty tasty. The pasta came out well and the sauce was nice and rich. We actually added a few extras to the pasta to jazz it up a little more- like sun dried tomatoes and feta cheese but you can easily serve it on its own.
Overall I think this is terribly convenient and these are very easy kits for people with smaller families especially.
If you want to check out the Good Earth Restaurant Favorites as well, you can! I have a complete kit available with a recycled tote bag, bamboo serving pieces and one of the entrees.
If you would like to enter to win, there are 4 chances. I will randomly select a winner on Tuesday at 11am PST.

My first job was at Burger King. Believe it or not, it was a great job and taught me many fundamentals regarding working in the “real world” which I carried with me in my future “real jobs”!

My first job was a housekeeper at a private college. I was 16 and had to clean all of the dorms, showers, toilets, etc. They hosted summer camps for sports camp, and it would be so dirty when the kids left! It did make me learn how to clean, which I can be thankful for as a wife and mother of 2! I would love to win this prize! I LOVE bamboo! In fact, we’re growing some in our backyard! Thanks for the blog, I really appreciate it!
My first job was Wal-Mart. It has both good and bad memories. I personally won’t shop there anymore, but that has more to do with shopping experiences.

My first job was as a little league softball umpire. I hated it because I was terrible, people were always yelling at me and questioning me about the rules and I rarely knew the answers.

Hi, I’m Yusianawati Santoso and I’m your FB follower.
My first job is Assistant for a Pediatrician. I love my job since I love children and I can go “crazy” with the examine room decorations… ๐
My first job was a tutor to 2 kids and I loved it. I still think of them fondly and wish I had the time to tutor now.
My first job was at a local internet provider. I answered customer support phone calls and helped write webpages for local businesses. It wasn’t a bad job, but I was 15 and was working all day while my friends were at the lake which was a bit of a downer.
Also – I ‘like’ you on Facebook.
My first job was working as a book keeper/registrar for a small home school program. I helped create transcripts and file all the records! It was actually really fun.

One of my first jobs was packing and stamping boxes of grapes in my dad’s field. It was over 100 degrees every day. My other friends had jobs at pools, banks (with a/c),etc….I was pretty bummed. But it was a great learning experience in the end.
My first job was on our family farm. I helped feed, water, move, etc our hogs and also regularly drove our John Deere 4020 as I tilled up the field for planting. ๐ I absolutely loved farm work!

My first job was hosting at a local Italian joint. It was a terrible job–grabby boss, bad food and a coworker with some anger issues. I don’t miss it at all :0
My first job was at PetSmart, as a “Specialty Associate”, which means that I worked directly with the animals, caring for them. I loved working with the animals, but really hated the people. We had 5 different managers all with their own priorities, and there was just no winning. It was a lot of fun working with the animals, learning about them and all, but I’m glad I don’t work there anymore.
I’ve never been to a Good Earth restaurant, but I do look forward to trying them out! Thank you for the giveaway!
This is such a fun giveaway, I waited tables in my grandpa’s diner for years and it really taught me the value of a dollar!
