I have had this trash can for 3 years and love it! I got it at a Bed and Bath clearance sale and it has been totally worth it. I don’t think I have replaced the batteries yet either. If I did, it has only been once. I would definitely buy this product again!
I also have this trash can for almost 3 years and had to change the batteries only once. I love it, it works great, but I got it at Costco for $35, it was a great deal.
I have this trash can and the batteries need to be changed so often that I stopped buying batteries for it and just manually lift the lid. I do not recommend it.
