Comment: Lisa G. says My daughter would so love this and so would I. She has recently started getting into Daddy’s toolbox and it scares me to death. It would be great to give her own toolbox. Thanks for all the savings! I had no idea you could save this much on things, but you have helped me get started in the coupon game and I am now addicted.
As I mentioned yesterday, I got to test four of the fun new spring toys from Fisher Price and Matchbox this week.
One of the products was this cute Fisher Price Trio Building set for girls. Now I have two girls so pink is everywhere I turn but I have to say the little pink toolbox this set comes in I just loved!
My two year old is daddy’s little helper- she loves nothing more than sitting and assembling things and playing with Daddy’s tools.
I was thinking this toy might be a little beyond her age range since it is meant for children aged 3-7 but she got right in there and was building away. She was quite taken with assembling the blocks to create fish and birds and all sorts of things.
I really believe toys like these encourage children’s creativity and imagination. And as I mentioned yesterday- here is another toy that may very well offer you a few minutes of peace and quiet.
You can purchase the Trio from Amazon for $26.99 right now.

You can also win one from MFA!! I have the pink kit available for one lucky reader (and for those of you with little boys not to worry- I have something for you tomorrow!)
If you would like to win the Trio kit for your little one just leave a comment and let me know what your little lady loves doing. I’d love to hear what games or toys or activities your kiddos enjoy. As I mentioned my two year old can sit for hours with Daddy doing all sorts of projects around the house or assembling furniture and things.
I will randomly select a winner on Saturday at 10 am. If you are viewing this in a reader or via email please be sure to click through to the blog to leave a comment!
GOOD LUCK!!

This sounds amazing. I have three little girls but it’d be for my 4 & 2 year olds. Kate is into everything pink and, by default, so is Emma (the 2 year old.) Kate loves to color and is determined to be able to read and write and add but she also loves her imagination and building things. Emma is full of silliness, she loves to build “castles” all day long, only to knock them down or take them apart and assemble a new one. The would love, love this toy.
