I know many of you are looking forward to the Avatar release on Thursday. Well guess what? I have one copy of the DVD for a lucky MFA reader!

Avatar is the highly anticipated movie from James Cameron. This Oscar and Golden Globe winning epic is the highest grossing film of all time (Yow!)

    My boyfriend would ABSOLUTELY love to win this! He literally had to drag me to the movie theater to watch this movie because it didn’t look like “my kind of movie”. So I sat there and watched with wide eyes as I fell in love with the characters, the concept, and the beauty of the movie. As we were leaving the theater I told him how much I loved the movie and as we walked out he asked me to do the unthinkable… for his enjoyment, I had to moan out a “you were right” THREE times! Ever since those dreadful words came out of my mouth, he’s been pressuring me to watch “Lord of the Rings” and “Star Wars” and “Iron Man” and “Fantastic Four” and ….lets just say he’s got our movie nights all picked out because, “You loved Avatar, so you’ll love all these too.” So I figure if I win him the Avatar DVD, then maybe he’ll stop the insanity!!
