We have a Easter tradition of having a scavenger easter hunt. We hide the eggs and give our kids a walkie talkie and we give them hints to find the eggs!

Much like you my spring tradition is getting my house in order. All the curtains down, windows washed, mouldings scrubbed, drawers straightened out, bill/papers filed, charity boxes, and getting the yard ready for another year.
I am a fan on facebook and i get your newsletter. I actually just found you today and have spent quite a few hours on here looking at all your suggestions for couponing and rebating and will be here often. This is a wonderful website and blog. In this time of economic chaos its nice to be able to find all the help we can get, because really most everyone is in the same boat, trying to keep our families happy and well provided for and still be able to bank some hard earned cash. So a big thank you to you and all the other bloggers on here that are helping us all out!!

Every Spring we do a family photo. We get a new outfit, haircuts, and take our annual picture. We always use the picture for our easter cards. We used to go to Kiddie Kandids but sadly they went out of business so this year will be an adventure trying to find a new studio.
We love to plant bulbs every spring. We now have close to 1000 in our yard! We live on 2 acres… it’s very beautiful in the spring.

My favorite spring time thing that we do is to have a huge Easter egg hunt for all the neighborhood kids (now that mine are grown up and I’m a grandma. We mark prize numbers on some of the eggs and $ amounts like .25 with a white crayon before we dye the eggs. The kids get SO excited every year. That feels like spring to me!
Every spring, we try to go to the tulip festivals over near the seattle area.. it is so gorgeous!! And usually it’s just the girls, so that is fun too!!

Every year for Spring Break we all go camping at the beach for the week. It is the perfect mix of fun under the sun all day at the beach, at sitting around a campfire telling jokes and stories all night long! Look forward to it every year 😀
We love watching for the first cicadas to hatch and start there songs. We have about 8 different kinds and we love to call out the different sounds they make. That is late spring, but it is certainly a sign that summer is just around the corner.
