I have a fun giveaway for those of you with any of the Safeway family of stores in your area! They have generously offered one MFA reader a $25 gift card card as well as a spring baking kit from Betty Crocker. The kit includes:
- A stainless steel mixing bowl
- silicon backing pan
- oven mitt
- and a mixing spoon
In addition, you can head into Safeway Family stores from March 24- April 6th and score Betty Crocker cake mixes or brownie mixes for just .69! To make it even better, you can head over HERE to Bake Sweet Memories and save exclusive e-coupons onto your club cards!
You can also get recipes and decorating ideas for springtime baking. Yum!
If you would like to enter to win, you have 4 chances:
1. Leave a comment below letting me know what spring time traditions your family has! Sadly we don’t have any other than my annual need to organize and clean every spring!
2. Subscribe to my newsletter or RSS feed (or let me know you do!)
3. Follow me on Twitter (or let me know you are!)
4. Become a fan on Facebook (or let me know you are!)
GOOD LUCK!! The giveaway will end on Sunday at 8pm PST!

(Disclosure: I also received a spring baking kit courtesy of Betty Crocker/Safeway and My Blog Spark. All opinions expressed are my own and I was not compensated in any other way.)
We don’t have any Spring traditions either 🙁 Unless you count wearing shorts when we really shouldn’t just because we’re so happy it’s not freezing anymore 🙂

(and apologies for the duplicate comment above!)
Every year in the spring, as soon as the snow is melted, we gear up our son in his “puddle boots” and easily washable clothes/jacket and let him stomp around and get as muddy and wet as he wants to.
In the spring we try to spend at much time outdoors before summer hits and it’s too hot to do anything!

We don’t have a “Spring” tradition but for Easter I always make a big prime rib roast and we eat on it for days. It is one of the times that I go over my budget!
