If you have little girls than I know you are going to love Piggy Paint.  My 2 year old happens to love nail polish and when I saw Piggy Paint I knew it would be a hit in our house.

These polishes are totally non toxic and water based.  They come in a variety of fun colors that are a little more appropriate for kiddos than some of the regular polish you see in the stores.  The polish was created by a mom that used foam plates to catch drips when she was polishing her little girl’s nails.  She noticed the polish would eat through the plates and then realized her children were putting their nails in their mouths with all those nasty chemicals.  So she created Piggy Paint which is free of all the chemicals in a regular nail polish.

Piggy Paint was kind enough to send a sample of a polish as well as the polish remover for us to test.  I have to tell you my husband complains constantly about the smell of polish- even hours after he will still complain.  I can tell you he did not say one word about Piggy Paint AND he even painted my daughter’s nails!  It is nothing like regular polishes- the smell is almost nonexistent. I really liked this stuff- we normally use some of the drugstore brands and OPI.  I thought this was very comparable to the drugstore products but I will say it didn’t hold up quite as long as OPI does.  Overall I was sold by Piggy paint.  I would much rather have a few extra touch ups than expose my little girls to all those nasty chemicals.

Piggy Paint is priced at $9.95 and can be found on Amazon.  It is a little more expensive but I was sold when I smelled the difference between this polish and regular ones, there really is a dramatic difference.  I also liked that the colors were more kid friendly and whimsical.

You can also buy little sets of 3 that are priced around $25 and would be a really cute gift for a little girl.

    Forever Fancy is would be my daughter’s favorite. She loves pink and she loves getting her nails painted. I don’t like to paint them that often because of the toxins that are in normal paints so this stuff sounds great!
