I haven’t been over to check on Safeway store coupons in awhile. When I checked tonight it looks like they have quite a few!
Here is the catch- you can’t print them! You will need your club card and you can register (just click add on any coupon and the screen will pop up) and then they are added to your card.
These are store coupons so you should be able to just scan your club card and have them come off the total. You should be able to use manufacturer coupons with these as well.
You will want to be very careful to only add the coupons that say Safeway in bold type to your club card. There is a program where you can also add manufacturer coupons to your card- they have pretty much the same coupons that you can find HERE. I have not spent much time with this but when I tested it by adding the coupon to my club card, I realized I could not print the coupon! So you are committed to only using the coupon at Safeway once it is on your club card. I prefer to print them and have the choice to use it at any store personally- so keep that in mind!
One coupon that struck me was the $1.50/2 Yo Plus yogurt. These are typically priced at $2.25-2.50 in stores so use that along with the $1 printables HERE and you should get yogurt for .50-.75 each!
Let us know if you try this and how it works out!

I checked it out and it looks like you have the option to load it on your card or print.

Hmm.. I did not have that option it was only adding it to my card.

You can print these also, I did it yesterday. On the left there is a box you can push to print instead of loading.
admin says
Nope. No box for me. Before there was two boxes but this time I just had the add button.

I was able to print some too. There are more Safeway coupons available to load to your card than there are to print though.

I know on other sites there have been posts about loading them, logging out and then printing them, too (maybe using a diff. browser?)
There are also some people posting about trying to use them with a printable SW coupon. Now, I’d consider this a big no-no myself…violates my coupon ethics and seems like it would lead to problems for other couponers.
But, printing one to use at another store is totally legit.
My experience with Safeway is that their computers take a while to catch up with their promos. so I think I’ll wait and see how this works before I give it a try!

I have been a BIG fan of shortcuts.com. We have Tom Thumb which is part of Safeway and Kroger. They load coupons on your card from the manufacturer. When I request to have them loaded on my card it loads on BOTH cards. You can still use your paper coupons too. My favorite thing has been Huggies Pull-ups. I get a $2 off jumbo or bigger on both cards and with my $2 coupons I can go to Tom Thumb and get a $9 pack of pull ups for $5 then go to Kroger and do the same. shortcuts.com doesn’t have many but there are 3 or 4 things I buy regularly and can double up.

I tried this with the Best Foods Mayo. I loaded the 1.50/1 on safeway.com then used the $1/2 mfctr. Q. I cannot see the 1.50 off anywhere on my receipt, although I have such a hard time understanding the Safeway receipts! It appears I only got the mfct. Q…I had to buy (2) for mfctr. Q, so I knew I would only get 1.50 off of one. My receipt says BEST FOODS reg price 9.78 (for2) Card Save: 3.30 total 6.48. None of that adds up to my advertised price of $4.49!
