I happen to love the idea of fun toothbrushes for kids- anything to make what would otherwise be considered a chore a little more exciting! My toddler happens to love toothbrushes and I already have a few tucked away for stocking stuffers this year. Arm and Hammer has a new line of brushes called Spinbrush that come in a variety of fun designs including Spider Man and Incredible Hulk- pretty much a design to suit the interest of any child. The Spinbrushes are designed to perfectly fit little mouths and massage the gums to remove plaque. According to Arm and Hammer, kids using a Spinbrush tend to brush 38% longer than with a regular toothbrush! These are priced at about $6 at most drugstores and chain stores.
There is also a line of Arm and Hammer Spinbrushes for adults- including the new Pro Clean Sonic. This toothbrush has proven to remove over 95% of plaque- especially in hard to reach areas. The bristles move at 16,000 precision micro-sweeps per minute- which means it is especially effective in hard to reach areas. So this toothbrush will do a more thorough job than a manual toothbrush. The Pro Clean Sonic runs about $14 in most drug stores and chain stores. This would be a great addition to a holiday gift for a college student in particular!

I think both my girls would really love the butterfly one. It’s my personal favorite, but even at 2 and 3 1/2 I’ve suddenly found myself with two girly-girls on my hands. How it happened, I’m not sure, but I find that I don’t mind as much as I thought I would! Definitely the butterfly!
