So I’m a little confused by this “fantastic” opportunity. I’ve been doing a little shopping on amazon and have a few items in my cart (haven’t purchased yet due to funds) and got excited to hear about this PRIME opportunity. However, after signing up, I found out that amazon prime is way more expensive for the exact same items…even more than paying for shipping on my regular account! What’s up? A joke, is what I think, and it’ll be far better to spend $25 and get free shipping and save up swagbucks to get any sort of deal out of amazon.
seriously, what is an example of an item that costs more with Prime? I’ve never come across an item that has a different price for accounts with Prime and those without.
Really? I have never had that experience. I have never seen a single item priced higher with Prime. Do you have an example that I can look at? I post Amazon deals every single day so I am on the site constantly and have yet to run into this problem. Thank you!

You certainly can see why I was a little disappointed. However, I am at least happy to hear that you guys are getting really good deals on shipping. Maybe it’s just the items I’ve been looking at? I know prices on amazon change quickly and I’ll have to see if it pans out for me in the next 4 weeks, but so far (in my case) amazon is just trying to make a few extra bucks with Prime. I’ll hope for the best but in the mean time happy shopping and deal hunting!
Oh I see. You are looking at two different sellers. That is why the price is different- it has nothing to do with Prime. So with Prime 3rd party sellers (in this case Sandisk) often offer free shipping. That is just an extra bonus. Without Prime you would pay whatever the price is AND shipping. Now if you go direct through Amazon (like you did today) you still get free shipping- so you would have paid $13.02 and that is it. I searched for that item and I don’t see it but anyway I think that might be the issue. You can buy almost anything from Amazon directly (not a 3rd party) and get the exact same price and free shipping on the item.
yeppie! Thanks for the heads up on this deal. I just bought my grandsons two Yo Gabba Dvd’s and a pixar “cars” toy with my swagbucks and the free shipping. $0 out of pocket. although I havent figured out how to cancel the prime so I dont get billed the $79. Can you help with that?
OK go into your account on the right side, then manage prime account on the right side in the top box.
Then click to NOT upgrade automatically. Mine is already set to not upgrade so I am not sure exactly what it says but it will be in the top left side.
I clicked on the link for the free trial, but I don’t see a free trial on the Amazon site, just a place to sign up for the $79 service. Am I too late?
