Welcome to my new home! I am so excited to have made the switch to WordPress and all the great new features the blog will have! All current subscribers should not even notice a difference- if you are not getting the emails/feed please let me know right away! Make sure you bookmark this page as I will no longer be posting on the old blogspot site.
So are you ready for some of the new things I have in store?
#1 You can now print the shopping lists! I have envied this feature for ages on Kate’s blog and now you can just click on the little printer and have an easy shopping list when you plan your trips. The lists will also have the web site location for any links so you can go back and print your coupons should you forget.
#2 Giveaways will now have a private form. So you don’t have to post your email for the entire world to see. Yeah!
And there is a lot more to come but right now I am busy unpacking as you will soon discover. I am in the process of moving in and transferring everything over. I am also learning how to use WordPress so please let me know if anything looks wonky.
And get ready for my housewarming sitewarming party! There will be a giveaway a day for the next 10 days to celebrate my lovely new home. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think!

I love it! This is one of my favorite fonts, too, btw! 🙂 I love how you leave comments(it’s much faster, no more multiple anonymous commenters, and it doesn’t open a new tab every time you go to read the comments)!

Looks great! There is one thing I noticed, and maybe you are already working on it. Underneath the pink navigation bar towards the top (directly under your header) there is a green bar with white dots that doesn’t look like it belongs there.

I only noticed one little thing – the content of your right sidebar is spilling over the orange border on the right in IE8. It’s maybe 5 or 10px too far to the right.

i’m loving the look of your new site. and of course the content is great as usual! there are a couple of things i miss about the old site though. first, the ability to subscribe to comments. maybe i’m just not seeing how to do it? i think that’s a pretty important feature. also, i liked being able to see a timestamp on your posts. looks like wordpress does a date, but not a time. not a huge deal, but those were two thoughts i had. other than that, i’m excited for the change. thanks for all that you do for us thrifty shoppers!
