In today’s paper there was a special Safeway insert- my insert was bo-ring but apparently some areas had a Super Coupon for .99 gallons of milk! You should be able to get this ad in your stores if you missed it- remember Super coupons have a minimum $20 purchase- but that is pre-coupon! You can also look at your insert HERE– in Nor CA we got the same .99 Kraft in last week’s ad. Thanks to those that wrote in to tell me about this! Remember you will want to give the Super Coupon first.

I haven’t confirmed this nationally with Safeway stores BUT the bottom of my last receipt states:
“Use your PowerPump rewards! The program is being discontinued 9/12.” So it looks like this is the end to the gas rewards program at Safeway! Bummer.

I know here in Maryland the latest reward period ends 09/12 (before you lose your reward) but in checking the Safeway web site it states, "Rewards expire on 3/28/09, 6/20/09, 9/12/09, 1/2/10." So maybe it's not discontinuing altogether? *I hope!*
I just got gas at a safeway in northern CA and it had a sign saying use rewards before 9/12. I did and I saved .70 cents a gallon!
Safeway has French's Mustard on for 2/$3. I went to French's website and they had a .50/1 coupon. It only lets you get one per household/computer. I got two bottles for $2!! Plus they're the 20 oz. (large size).
